Cozy Country Cabin quiet country retreat

13 miles to Paoli peaks SKI resort
Situated inbetween Louisville Kentucky and French lick Indiana
The cabin is private overlooking a shared half acre pond
NO PET POLICY
Beside a 30 acre woods with road access on one side. The cabin has a gravel drive and one step up onto the porches. We can set up the ramp for wheelchair access.
The quarter-mile, woodswalk is a work in progress. Fishing in the pond is catch and eat or catch and release – no take-home.
The cabin has heating and air-conditioning, electric, a wood-burning fireplace, hot and cold water, a heated tile bathroom floor. Gas and charcoal grills bring your own charcoal.
There is a new patio with a fire ring if you want to do a hot dog roast.
Canoe + PFD along with paddles available.
Refrigerator, counter top oven, 2 burner hot plate and microwave coffee maker

“Major“ is our German Shepard who was born December 2020 moves around the property at will and loves swimming in the pond. He greets our guests and expects to make new friends. Though his time is spent mostly at our house - not at the cabin.
We have most all the pots and pans and utensils for cooking and preparing foods.

Darrel was so hospitable and was great with communication. We enjoyed the delicious cinnamon roles and banana nut bread. The cabin itself was clean, warm, and cozy. We spent a lot of time around the fire just enjoying the quiet time with each other.

Honeymoon Trip!!

Best Weekend Getaway Ever!

We loved the Cozy Cabin! The bed is comfortable, the view is great, and everything is so peaceful. Darrel and Vivian are great hosts! They answered any questions we had and were very accommodating. Cabin was as advertised and amazing! Very peaceful place to spend a night or weekend. Great fishing right out the back door. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a quite peaceful weekend!!

It REALLY is a cozy cabin in the country!

Everything was exactly as promised. The cabin is beautiful and has so many good quality features to make the stay pleasant and well, cozy. It is decorated with cute things throughout and the hosts make it feel like home. Definitely coming back for more hiking fishing and sightseeing

So relaxing and cute

It was our second time at the cozy cabin. We love it there. The cabin is so cute and since we love to fish, the pond is our recreation. Highly recommend it if you want a quiet getaway to unplug from tv and WiFi for a bit.

Relaxing

I needed just a couple of days to recharge and this place was just the spot. Very clean and everything in the description of the property on Vrbo was accurate. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle and just rest for a bit.

Weekend get away.

The property was absolutely beautiful. I ran out of wood to burn and text Darrel the host and within 5 minutes he had brought us more wood. We will definitely come back again.

The cabin was very private off a quiet road nestled back in between some tall trees and bushes. The kitchen was beautiful nicely set up cedar wood cabin inside fresh flowers, and homemade goodies left for us. Very nice very clean a lot of extras stuff in refrigerator some fresh eggs, things in the cabinet if we needed that we might’ve forgotten if we wanted to cook that , we could use. Things left to let you know what was in the area for you to look at so you could visit ,very peaceful pond right up against the cabin and you could almost fish from the deck. It was beautiful and a beautiful time of the year. we will definitely be back.🤗

Gorgeous property!

Peaceful, serene, just a beautiful location. We loved spending our anniversary at this quaint property. Caught several fish, enjoyed the woodburning fireplace and all the beautiful surroundings. What a bonus to find the homemade sweet treats ❤️. We will be back!

Cutest Little Cabin

This property is clean and cute! I wish the weather was better for us to enjoy it to the fullest. The property has a pond and fire pit that we weren't able to utilized because of the rain. Would definitely stay again of we were ever in the area again.

Cozy and peaceful

The cabin is so cute and it’s very relaxing sitting on the back porch rocking and watching the birds. Cabin is very clean and they have things just in case you forgot something. They even had cinnamon rolls for us when we got there. It’s a super nice place to stay. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

Beautiful and quiet

This is such a great getaway location. Its quiet, cozy, and beautiful. The owners are very nice and helpful and brought us extra wood for the firepit. The pond still has fish in it, we caught a few bass and didnt even spend much time fishing. Can't wait to come back.
