"Clean, however the nonsmoking room smelled heavily of smoke. The pillows were very flat and after our first might there was no soap or shampoo in the tub/shower. It was a quiet room and the desk clerk was very nice. Plentiful parking was available. No coffee maker in the room"

" We had an amazing stay and would absolutely book here again!We came to Iowa for the Hinterland Music Festival, and this house was the perfect location—just minutes from the festival grounds, making it incredibly easy to get back and forth. The home was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay.Paige was an outstanding host. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked through checkout. We even accidentally nicked a door frame with my wheelchair during our stay, and she couldn’t have been more kind and understanding about it. This trip was especially meaningful because it was a surprise birthday trip for our daughter, and seeing her favorite group, KATSEYE, perform made for memories we’ll never forget. Having such a comfortable place to come back to each night made the experience even better.If you’re coming to Hinterland—or just looking for a peaceful place to stay in the area—I can’t recommend this property enough. We’d happily stay here again! "

"Great location…. Lodge was beautiful and had an incredible outdoor area. Plenty of room for our family get-together. The deck was perfect for enjoying the pretty views. Super close to Anita for convenience but has a country feel. Would definitely stay there again."

"I really like this hotel, and will likely stay again. As others' have stated--it is VERY basic. The surroundings are rough...rubble from tearing down other buildings. Hopefully that will get straightened out in time. "

"Fantastic property for larger families or groups. Our group was 5 adults and everyone had their own bed. There are 3 bathrooms which was great; plenty of nice towels. Two living/gathering areas inside and an outdoor deck with table/chairs. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, drink ware, and basic needs. Decor was very well done and interesting. Quiet neighborhood and a short drive to downtown."

"This house was perfect and cozy. We loved our weekend here. Will definitely be back in the future and highly recommend to anyone. The neighborhood is very nice and we enjoyed daily walks. The location near downtown made everything convenient."
