"From the ease of booking and checkin this quaint bungalow was a fantastic find. Perfectly located in such a walkable fun town and lots of things to do. The house is perfectly appointed with just the right amount of furniture and amenities…it has the most comfortable beds and a completely home like feel. I will definitely book this house again and again whenever I make the trip to Iowa! The host Rochelle goes above and beyond and provides so much information on the area. Top notch service!"

"The room was very clean - and very nice, I consider somewhat upscale body wash and shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. Boiled eggs, yogurt and waffel maker (that worked very well) for breakfast. The motel was very, very good for an inexpensive price."

"Highly recommend a stay at the old stone farm! The owner was super responsive and helpful leading up to and during our trip. The place is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed lazy mornings on the farm and ending out day around the fire pit at night. It was clean and cozy and the perfect background for curling up with a book and taking fun pictures outside. Our daughter loved getting to know all the animals and spent hours at the fence watching them do their thing and feeding them. The house is well appointed with everything you need to make fun dinners for the family or host as small gathering like we did. The house itself is a destination but it’s also an easy trip to Wintwrset or even Des Moines. Highly recommend you check it out. I’m sure it is beautiful in the spring and fall.
