"This was a first for all the different VRBO bookings we have made. A one star rating is probably wrong because we never got to stay in the property. It is in a remote country location and when we arrived (5pm on a Friday evening) the roads were closed from both directions. Apparently fibre is being installed in the area.Apple Maps helpfully directed us to the other side of a field and said we could walk from there! We had no choice but to drive back to London. A five hour round trip for...

Key Cottage, Orford

"Lovely little terrace house in a great location. Very steep stairs and low doorway for staircase so kept bumping out heads and could do with a foam protector on door frame. Kitchen is small so not ideal for cooking in but otherwise lovely decor and good shower. We still have not received our damage deposit back though and it has been more than 3 weeks since our stay and there was no damage to the property or the contents and not contact about it either. I would have given it 4 stars otherwise."

"We needed a weekend away as a family as Christmas wasnt as expected with an unexpected loss of a loved one. This cottage offered us all the cosiness we needed to be together, but space too! The kitchen is a beautiful room to enjoy together. The lounge cosy with its ligburner. Then the annex was an amazing space with its pool table. Great space for our teenagers to enjoy. Orford is such a pretty village with some nice pub's! The kings head, just 2 minutes walk away was fabulous! Lovely staff &...

"We had a wonderful time. The Cottage is lovely and quirky. So peaceful with a nice big garden. The Cottage had everything that we needed and even the weather was kind. Orford is a perfect location. Relatively small but with everything you could need. The Pump Street Bakery is definately worth a visit. There is a chocolate shop if if have a sweet tooth, a number of pubs, cafes and restaurants and a well stocked general store. All are within a few minutes walk of the cottage. Further afield the...
