"I stayed Friday to Monday (3 nights) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The house is clean and tidy, everything is easy to find and it's well-equipped. It's literally a stone's throw from the beach. There are modern conveniences and contemporary decor but house still has it's 1920's character, right down to a claw-foot bath and the loo positioned in the washhouse near the back door. Having no internet connection is great if you want a break from the online world to enjoy your holiday in peace, but there's still digital TV if you're so inclined. Step back in time, and relax. You'll love it."

"An awesome wee hideaway in a well apointed 1bdrm cottage - we had everything we needed for a couple of nights R&R - awesome set up with our 2 manimals - fully fenced and secure - great walks all around and the locals were amazingly friendly and the whole place had a warm village feel to it. "The setting is very relaxing. To be able to look out over the river was so nice. We did not want to stay in town. We found the short trip out to the property was well worth the effort. To be away from the noise and have such a relaxing setting really made the time there everything we wanted. Very friendly staff. Clean room. Loved the double push back sliding door to better take in the view and sound of the river. We would stdy again without a doubt. A real gem of a place. "

"Great little place, good location within easy reach of everything. Only downside would be the fact the bed squeeks every time you move Listing says there is a washer and dryer but there is not though this is apparently not theough lack of them trying to stop it from being on the list"
