Modern Oakura Accomodation right in the village

Alabasta accommodation is located in Oakura Village. Fifteen minutes drive south of New Plymouth on Taranaki’s unique Surf Highway 45. Close to all village amenities, with cafes, Indian Restaurant and Pub and only 5 minutes walk to beautiful Oakura beach. Alabasta offers new, modern and fresh apartment style accommodation. This is the ideal place for short or long stays for all visitors to Taranaki. A great alternative to a hotel, Alabasta offers all comforts of any home. This apartment can sleep up to five people with a queen and single bed in the bedroom, a king single trundler bed that converts to a double bed or two single beds in the living area. It has a spacious bathroom, an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The apartment is fully equipped for your convenience. Alabasta has laundry facilities and off road parking.

$130 for 2 people. $25 per extra adult. $15 per extra child under 16.
Smoking allowed outside only.
Please note, minimum stay 2 nights over holiday periods.

Clean & modern accom in the heart of town

Nice, clean, modern accommodation in the heart of town. Lacking a little in privacy due to being the bottom level of a duplex and the band at the local pub was noisy on the Sat night but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The apartment felt spacious and clean. The communication was great with owner. Right on the street with cafes, restaurants, and a 4 square, and fish n chip shop. Short drive to the beach.

We loved the beach towels that were provided for the swim in the lagoon nearby. The beds were comfortable. The space was clean and centrally located.

This is a nice place. It's new and modern. Bed layout was a bit unusual, but we made it work. Two beds were in the open area, which meant it lacked privacy. And there was no place to store their clothes and amenities. Overall, great place. We'd stay there again.

Warm, Clean & Quiet

We had a one night staycation at this property. It was great to be able to walk to the pub and cafes. The property was nice an clean and the bed was super comfy. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5, only because the couch and chairs appeared to be like reception furniture and wasn't awesome for relaxing in the evening. It would be nice to have a decent couch that two people could relax on comfortably. Otherwise, it was great. Nice selection of teas and thanks for the cookies!

A great location, gateway to the coast and close to the city

We had a great time exploring the local community culture and beach. Close enough for us to catch up with family in Omata and New Plymouth but also a place we could come back to relax and unwind.

Great little apartment
