Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Debbie host was great, there when we arrived and there to help when the water went off for a day. (Northland had very heavy rain in Jan 2026). Heritage accommodation was spacious and had all the tings needed for a great stay. Location couldn't be better, 20 seconds from the beach, really nice view ...

Explore the waterfront in Opua with a trip to Bay of Islands Marina. You can enjoy the restaurants while in the area.
Ferries run 6.00am (but start engines at 5.30am) and run until 10.00pm. Once they stopped guys came and started jet washing and scraping the wharf slipway - at 11pm.... right outside the room. Very Noisy. Hard to sleep
