The room was large and clean. Bathroom and kitchenette were great. We had room 1 which is on the lower floor, nest to the entrance and under the part were the owners live. Explore the waterfront in Opua with a trip to Bay of Islands Marina. You can enjoy the restaurants while in the area.
Ferries run 6.00am (but start engines at 5.30am) and run until 10.00pm. Once they stopped guys came and started jet washing and scraping the wharf slipway - at 11pm.... right outside the room. Very Noisy. Hard to sleep
