"The place was good overall for the price. Staff was nice . The area around it seemed unsafe and lots of homeless people around the area. However the hotel was well lit and seemed like a safe spot. "

"I honestly couldn't have been happier with this choice. I am an old Nugget guy and the noise and check in was horrendous and I changed locations on the spot.

STAFF was excellent and offered 'local' eating and gambling choices. My car was safe with excellent security, and I had great in and out of the parking lot.

"The room was spacious, clean and updated. Plenty of dining and snack options and all were very good. Hotel was easy to get to as it's close to the highway. Very convenient to walk to Fremont Street for entertainment with no worries about parking. It was nice having the bridge to Main Street Station for additional options. In addition, the staff was extremely friendly! Our stay at California Hotel made for an awesome vacation!!"
"We stayed at Oasis at Gold Spike while celebrating a 21st and 25th birthday, and it was the perfect choice! The check-in process was quick and easy, and the person at the counter was absolutely fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and full of great ideas. She answered all our questions, offered suggestions for things to do, and even set us up with a late check-out without us asking, which was such a nice touch.
The vibe of the hotel is fun and unique, with stylish retro-modern décor that fits perfectly with the downtown Las Vegas energy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and being right near Fremont Street made it easy to enjoy the nightlife and activities.
