"Check in was smooth and We immediately felt welcomed. We stayed in the superior family room and it was amazing, very spacious and very clean. Our teens loved the fact that they had their own space while we loved our separate bedroom! Breakfast the next morning was another highlight, delicious food and friendly service. We will certainly stay again."

"The hotel is nice and in a very convenient location for seeing Derry. Liked that it is on the opposite side of river from action of Derry so was quiet. The staff failed to tell us that the apprentice parade was occurring during the time we were there. We left in the morning and were surprised to find that we could not get near the hotel in the afternoon due to road closures. We drove around for 2 hours and had to stop somewhere and wait another hour to get back. We had planned on visiting museums of Derry when we returned but were too late to get in. Very disappointing. There should have been some communication with the guests to tell them about this disruption. We also had to make 3 requests for a top sheet for the bed as the duvet was too hot to sleep under."

"We booked the Presidential Suite as part of our honeymoon. Upon arrival there were issues with the room. We travel regularly and stay in 5* hotels. We believe the measure of any hotel is not how they relate to us when all as it should be but rather how they handle any issues that arise. We had a senior manager arrive in our suite within 15 minutes of us raising our concerns. We decided that moving to a different room was the easiest option and this was done swiftly and without any fuss. The remainder of our stay was simply perfect. We enjoyed room service breakfast each morning. It arrived hot thanks to the small heated boxes that came with each trolley. We ate in all 3 of the hotel restaurants and the food was well presented and delicious each time. We'd particularly like to mention James, the Catalina Restaurant Manager as his professionalism and attention shown to us made our dining experience even more special. Davy, the Concierge also deserves a mention for his friendly demeanour and helpfulness shown to us. We can't wait to return for another stay."

"The staff, room and breakfast were all lovely. The parking is a very small underground car park with more cars than spaces. It was very tight to manoeuvre my car around it and I was very nervous about damaging mine and or other cars. That aside the hotel is in a very good location to all the stuff you’re going to do."
