"Staff was great, room was great, location amazing. However for some reason the management thought it would be a good idea to resurface most of the parking lot which meant many people checking in had no where at all to park, let alone anywhere close to their room. Then, I left in the morning to get breakfast and came back and the entire lot was closed off, so I parked in the restaurant lot attached to the hotel m and started walking to my room and one of the staff said that that lot was closed too. Not sure what the thought process was for getting guests to their rooms."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cute house by the water. We really enjoyed sitting outside and jumping off the diving board into the water. The home was comfortable and cozy."

"Older hotel... clean but noisy from all sides. Not much insulation in the walls I fear. And don't know what happened but VERY loud yelling at midnight in the halls. I finally went to front desk to find it was the front desk handling a "situation". Woke us both up. Breakfast is good, lady working very nice and keeps things clean. Hot tub was ok, but had odor. Chemicals out of balance I fear."

"The property is cute and reminded us of our travels in southern Bavaria. It’s more like a guesthouse than an inn. Walls are a little thin, but guests were mostly observant of the rules. The countryside is beautiful and was a blessing to see the resident deer greeting us on our arrival."

"The location on the lake cannot be beat. We thoroughly enjoyed the dock and jumping into the lake. The two-house setup was fun for our family with older kids, but maybe not for everyone. Be aware that the lake house is a steep walk down a hill from the main house. Again - not a problem for us, but something to be aware of. The upper house was a good launch pad for activities in Olympic National Park, with the bottom house serving as a base for playing in the lake."

"One of the coolest places we've ever stayed. The place was incredibly clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The kids loved jumping off of the dock into the lake and using the kayaks. The location is excellent to explore Olympic National Park while still being close enough to Port Angeles to get dinner each night. The house had absolutely everything that we needed, there wasn't a single thing that we were without during our entire stay."
