"Great experience checking in! Friendly counter staff, very fast check-in, they gave me room keys for one room even though it wasn’t ready, which made my life a lot easier. The rooms are ok, nothing special but clean and functional. One bed in one of the rooms was rickety and tilted downwards on one side when weight is put on it. (Mgmt - room 109, the bed closer to the door). While the check-in was easy and pleasant, the checkout not so much. The counter staff person was unfriendly, unhelpful, and uncooperative. At first I was told I had to get receipts for the rooms through Expedia, even though I paid for them at the hotel. I know from booking hundreds of rooms over ten years through Expedia that that is just not true. You get receipts through Expedia when you pay for the rooms in advance through Expedia. I asked if the paperwork I signed checking in could be reprinted and was told “no, that’s for our records.” Then I was told that the checkout would generate emailed receipts, which again I know from experience is not true. Finally, the counter person printed me the receipts and handed them to me without a word. It is a very irritating thing to be told what you know to be true is not in fact true, only to be given what you asked for in the first place with a glare and a surly attitude. Couldn’t we have just skipped the surly attitude and gaslighting bits and gotten right to the receipt-printing? We won’t be staying here again. Too bad, because overall it’s good for the $$."

"So impressed with this home and the views! Our favorite day of our week long trip was when we stayed at the house and played on the lake all day. We rented a jet ski and some kayaks from Nick and had the absolute best time!"

"This property is right on the outskirts of Port Angeles and it only takes minutes to reach downtown. This park model mobile home was very clean and beautifully decorated. The area surrounding the home was left natural, unmowed. There is a fire pit area near the gravel driveway. Communication with the host was very easy as she was very responsive. We like that we were helping to support her local rescue farm with our rental. Brigett gave us a tour of her animals: Pigs, goats and chickens. It was a delight to meet her. We were very comfortable in this home and if you decide to stay there and want a yummy food place to eat, I recommend the Yodelin Broth Company--delicious! My only recommendation is the rental needs a can opener for the kitchen (we brought ours, so NBD) and to have sample size shampoo, conditioner and soap for the bathroom. Overall, this place was MWAH--chef's kiss!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Tammy’s and Jason’s place. Perfect location for exploring Olympic National Park. Just enough space for our family of four with 15 and 10- year old boys. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed for the stay and were very easy to communicate with."

"Beautiful lakeside cottage and main house (up a small hill). We had a great time on this wonderful lake; the property had everything we needed. Close to several Olympic national park sites.Note for larger parties - it would get very cozy if you were to fill the place to its stated capacity of 17. Some beds are in open areas, or sofa beds in the living room. We had a family of 4 in the cottage, and 5 in the main house which provided good privacy for everyone."
