The best restaurants are walking distance from the hotel and we walked to all of them while staying at Motel 6 NORTH: Freddy’s, Cheddars, Olive Garden, Black Bear Diner, Longhorn Steakhouse. Saved over $1,000.00 over the hotels a few blocks from Motel 6. Don’t tell anyone about the best little secret in Brownsville."

"Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was amazing. Only complaint is the first night we were told that the pool closed at 10pm. So my kids jumped in at 930pm. About 10mins til 10pm, the security guard asked what we were doing and that we shouldnt be in the pool area. We explained the front desk told us 9pm, but he wouldnt listen and firmly said the sign says 9pm! We apologized and left, and then asked the front desk the next day and they also daid 10pm..so we were a little confused by the security guard. But other than that..we had an amazing time!"
