The best time to visit Oletangy West is generally during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is most pleasant.During late spring, the temperatures are mild and comfortable, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C. This is an excellent time for enjoying outdoor activities such as visiting the Oletangy Park of Roses or exploring the bike trails along the Oletangy River. The foliage is lush, and the city's gardens are in full bloom, making it particularly appealing for couples looking for scenic strolls and relaxed afternoons. There are also frequent local festivals and farmers' markets starting up around this time.Early autumn also offers agreeable weather, with temperatures usually between 10°C and 20°C. The humidity is much lower than in summer, and the changing colours of the leaves provide a beautiful backdrop, especially along the Oletangy River corridor and in the various neighbourhood parks. This period is ideal for solo travellers who appreciate comfortable conditions for exploring the area's independent shops and cafes without the larger crowds associated with peak summer holidays. Many of the local university events and cultural performances begin in earnest, offering plenty to see and do.While summer (July and August) can be warm and humid, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C, it's still a popular time for families due to school holidays and a full calendar of outdoor events, including concerts in the park and local fairs.
