"Hotel Gruener Sand was a very nice place, very clean room, courteous staff, helpful for someone like me that speaks very little German. Dinners were delicious in the little pub, and breakfast was also delicious. Very personalized care, and the only thing that I would recommend for the room(s)m, would be a little apartment size refrigerator. We had some juice drinks that needed refrigeration. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality"

"Reception closes early, but staff are at your assistance by phone. I wasn't able to open the door. (Probably a mistake when programming the key... Luckily enough, another guest was able to open my door with his key... Some contact details might come in handy for future misfortunes like this. "Room was very clean and it had a small refrigerator,for long distance travellers stopping overnight, to store food stuffs (sandwiches & water etc) for their onward journey."

"I did enjoy my stay here, nice quite hotel. I did book a queen room unfortunately they gave me a twin room?! Didn't complain tho as I arrived late and was too tired. There is not alot around the hotel so if you need anything such as drink, snacks, toiletries I would recommend getting them before you go. Overall though this is a nice wee hotel in the countryside 😊"
