Nestled on a quiet side street in the heart of Uppermill is the wonderful Co Operative Cottage. With its tastefully decorated interior and beautiful blend and co-ordination of comfortable furnishings, it provides a warm and inviting atmosphere in which to relax and unwind whilst making yourself at home. Set out over three floors each of the bedrooms are well appointed and the kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a storm should you wish. Externally there’s a private patio plus a lawned garden that’s shared with the other properties on the small row. Private roadside parking is also allocated outside for one car.
The real pièce de résistance however is the superb central location within this incredibly popular village. Uppermill is a vibrant, picturesque village brimming with real character and natural beauty. As you step outside a quick hop, skip and jump will take you to quaint shops, charming cafes, and traditional pubs where you can sample delicious local cuisine. Take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Huddersfield Narrow Canal or explore the historic architecture that tells the tale of Uppermill’s rich heritage. Set beneath the rugged moors of the Pennines and on the edge of the Peak District National Park means nature enthusiasts will be delighted by the stunning landscapes that surround them. Lace up your hiking boots and embark on scenic trails through the rolling hills and verdant valleys of the nearby countryside.
