"The room was very large and the hotel was nicely renovated. I wish we were better informed of activities occurring in the hotel such as music in the roof garden. "
"Beautiful Hotel that embodied the spirit and charm of Charleston. The hotel is in the heart of downtown and walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. I can't wait to book our next stay at the Planters Inn"
"Very clean, nice room, super comfy bed and sheets. Breaking was delicious and the wine and charcuterie hour is so nice!!! Walkable to so many things, like the city market, shopping and tons of restaurants. Highly recommend "
"We stayed four nights at Meeting Street Inn. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. Be aware that it’s an old building and it’s an inn, not a hotel. You will not find a lot of amenities here. But you get a quiet stay, in a charming, historic Charleston Single-style building at a reasonable price. Continental breakfast was included and was different each day and everything was tasty and well-prepared. A wine and cheese reception is provided every day at 5:00 PM and milk and cookies at 8:00 PM. The Inn’s location is perfect because everything we wanted to do and see was within walking distance. In a brief five minute walk from the Inn you can be at the City Market, Bulldog tours, Old South Carriage tours, King Street, Queen Street and more. I definitely recommend Meeting Street Inn. "
"From the moment we checked in everyone was over the top kind and accommodating. The breakfast basket arrived every morning with breakfast goodies and the hotels over type service was amazing ! There is a rooftop bar and restaurant with gorgeous views of Charleston (food wasn’t our fav but was ok) and a sweet little coffee shop attached for convenient lattes and coffee in the morning. We loved the charm of this hotel and will be staying again for sure. "
