Comfort Suites Downtown Sacramento

"The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. They were in the process of shampooing carpets when we checked in, so that was a good sign to me right off the bat. Staff was very helpful, especially when we had to order an extra bag to check for our return flight, and had it delivered while we were out for dinner. I had mentioned it to the front desk and she made an active effort to stop the delivery driver and hold the bag until we got back. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy- it's right next to a gas station with some seemingly unhoused individuals that loiter around a lot. However, those individuals avoid the hotel property. The secured parking helps that, as do the staff patrols of the property. The breakfast was very tasty- they offered cereals, different pastry options, bagels, bread (and toaster), as well as had 2 waffle irons (one regular size, one with 4 mini waffles), along with juices and yogurt. Overall I was very pleased, especially for the price."

"It’s not the Ritz by any means, but given it’s a decommissioned river boat, it was incredible. Rooms were clean and well maintained, if small and aged. Staff was amazing. Restaurant and bar had great menus and staff. Just wish they had later hours. Overall it’s such a great experience and walking distance to the baseball park, old downtown Sacramento, and downtown Sacramento proper. Would definitely make it my regular spot if I ever have occasion to come back"

"Cozy hotel right by the Sacramento airport. They offer a shuttle to and from the airport, which made things very easy for us. A great hot breakfast is included with the stay, and coffee is available throughout the day. The hotel was clean and quiet. Highly recommend!"
