"The house is absolutely stunning full of antiques in keeping with the medieval era. The view through the window over the river was magnificent. All the beds had comfortable mattresses and pillows, and it was very dark and quiet and we slept well. The size of the house was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen had very good for facilities for cooking. You do need to be quite fit to stay at Mont Joie as it is at the top of the hill that you need to walk up and within the house itself, there are two long flights of stairs. "

"What a great location. Accommodation is very well appointed with everything you need. Excellent walking access to all the essential facilities in the village. Try and travel light as there is a walk to the property along an uneven path which with heavy case will be a challenge.The hospitality and welcome from Catherine is exceptional and nothing was too much trouble.A great stay! "This is the most amazing house we have ever stayed in on all of our travels! We had read the description but it goes beyond the feeling you have when you’re actually in it! The home was meticulous plus you are able to feel the age of it while the added modern features make it very comfortable. Communications with the host were many and very helpful and Andrea and Maritine were always eager to help us! The village of Beynac doesn’t even seem real! Our trip to Beynac and living in this incredible house have made our trip to France unforgettable! We had wished we would have made our trip longer as our accommodations were just unbelievable! We’re so happy to have had this experience!!!!"
