"Decently nice room to spend night in, besides the 10+ spiders we found mostly in the bathroom. Pretty clean overall & we enjoyed our stay. Very overpriced though & the host is nice overall but can be very unpleasant & unprofessional under a bit of stress. No offense whatsoever, just our opinion. Would consider staying again at a very much lower price & minus all the dang spiders. My fiancé was terrified, again no offense at all to the host. Seems like a nice lady under the right circumstances. This is just our god’s honest opinion and pray that it’s used for improvement more than anything else! Thanks again to the host for everything, I hope this is received well."

"Had 2 rooms, booked the 2nd on-site as we had more people in our party than originally planned. Both rooms were unable to use the deadbolt locks, they weren't aligned with the door frame at all which was very concerning and we didn't get much sleep as a result. Hotel was old and needed renovations but it was clean and the staff was very professional and nice. "

"Very close to the airport. Parking was easy, right outside the front entrance. Check in was quick. Room are clean and quiet. The only complaint was the AC made clicking noice once in a while. "

"The hotel is a beautiful, historic, and charming. We loved the old doors and carved wood; it was like walking back in time....all beautifully well preserved. The staff was warm and friendly and very welcoming. We ate at both hotel restaurants and the food and service were superb. The disappointment was our room was in need of renovation/updates. It was comfortable, but the walls were heavily stained and in need of painting and the desk chair was worn and the seat cushion had a lump in the center. We also received very old bath linens; one of the towels actually had a hole in the center! There was tape left on the window framing from someone who had previously hung decorations in the room. It did not feel as though enough attention was being given to the in-room experience. We would return, but we did feel the comfort and experience the quality we would expect at a four-star hotel. "

"Very nice stay in a spotless and comfortable room. Front desk greeter Sandy was exceptionally helpful and kind. Hotel is set back from road, quiet and plenty of parking. Two fast food places adjacent to property. Two elevators, although one was out of service. Only negative was skin lotion dispenser empty in our room--hotel is apparently out of it."
