"The property is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. However, the listing was a bit misleading—only one bedroom and the bunkhouse were accessible, not the three bedrooms and baths advertised. There was no access to a washer/dryer, and the upstairs shower had very low water pressure. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom also lacked window coverings, which made privacy an issue. That said, the host was responsive and assured us these concerns would be addressed with the property manager."

"Greenwood Beach must be one of the most beautiful beaches in all The Bahamas. The house is very modern, clean, has every amenity and kitchen gadget one could wish for. Great floor plan. "The view from this location is stunning and the beach is beautiful. A few things I wish we would have know before we went: 1. When we got to the house their was no fresh water. Be sure you pick up a 5 gallon jug of water before you come to the home. 2. Due to high rains the roads were flooded so it took as quite a while to get to and from the grocery store. The location is remote so you don't want to have a flat tire. Be careful of the potholes. 3. A.J.'s convenience is closer than Gilberts...

"Two weeks at 9A of Pure Paradise--Mother's Day flowers waiting for us. We came back for the solitude and gorgeous beaches and were NOT disappointed. Visited several new beaches and restaurants--Hidden Treasures is back on the beach and was fantastic! Snorkeling off the back porch was a unique experience every time out. We will be back. "

True Paradise - best destination I have gone to!

"My mom and I absolutely loved our recent stay at Banana Winds on Cat Island! The location was stunning—right by the ocean—and the home was incredibly comfortable, well-equipped, and relaxing. It was hard to leave the house because it was so peaceful and beautiful.The locals were absolutely lovely, and the caretaker, Harrison, truly went above and beyond. My mom has alpha-gal syndrome, and this was her first time traveling with it. Harrison not only prepared two delicious, completely safe meals for her, but he also used fresh fruits and vegetables straight from his own garden—which made everything even more special. His thoughtfulness took so much stress out of the trip. He also gave us several personal recommendations for amazing beaches and places to explore—we discovered some real hidden gems thanks to him.We were also able to safely eat at a few restaurants, including Hidden Treasures and Greenwood, both of which were incredibly accommodating and caring about her allergies.I usually don’t return to the same place twice—I want to see as much of the world as I can—but this is one place I know I’ll be back to. I can’t wait to bring friends and family here and make it a regular part of my life. We truly can’t recommend it enough for its beauty, comfort, and the incredible kindness we experienced."
