Pleasant stay at Sunset motel. Our rooms had a stunning view of the snow capped mountains in the distance. Fox Glacier is a small town, so the motel is well placed to take in the activities. One suggestion for the motel owners; during the Autumn/ winter season warmer doonas and blankets are definitely needed as the rooms get extremely cold of an evening, even with the heater on.

Upon arrival our room was very hot. The heaters only have settings for low or high, no OFF. I asked at the desk and was told the system for the entire motel was controlled with one unit, and they set it seasonally to be on or off...for everyone.
