"I think very few gaijin go this far out. Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. "A very nice onsen hotel. The room was spacious, the bath was nice. Ample parking. The location was great."

"The food, atmosphere, and super friendly staff definitely make this place to return to. Staff was always friendly and very, very accommodating even with our limited Japanese vocabulary. Definitely the highlight of our trip for sure!"

"Everything about the accommodation was excellent, especially the staff! Despite the communication struggles, they were very helpful and provided great service during my stay. "Fantastic ryokan. Great onsen on 6F. Included dinners were amazing. The store was small but very well curated"

"Close to the train station and nice big windows also has clean rooms"

"The staff was very helpful and the property was gorgeous. For families who may not be familiar with this style of hotel, be aware that bathing facilities are either in a public onsen or you can rent a private onsen for 45 minutes."

"Great hotel!"
