The location is convenient 10mn walking from the train station and ~10mn to the Matsumoto castle and the main street and the old town. The hotel has a small bath for men & women. Nothing to complain about."

"Great staff! Friendly and very helpful. Food (in the restaurant) was awesome! The “Western” style dinner in particular … i know you’re in Japan, but the chef is great… ya gotta try while you’re there. Castle is nice. Not a lot to do in Matsumoto, but walkable. Location of Hotel is good (bread place around the corner and castle is vey close). Note: the hotel itself is not new, but it is clean."
