When I arrived the clerk sent me to the WRONG room, had I not noticed after unpacking my belongings the name, charge card and length of stay were incorrect. I brought it the clerks attention and they told me "you'll have to move" what if I had decided to take a shower or a nap? what if I hadn't notice the incorrect information? I told the clerk it's unacceptable and I asked him to comp 1 night - he refused providing only $10-15 per night - I had to repack and move my belongings to the correct room from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor. I was not satisfied with $10-15 per night and finally I told the staff "a simple apology would go a long way" one of the clerk just stood there silent. Once I was in the correct room on the 1st floor the Safelite glass guys were standing outside the room by their work van talking for hours, not a big deal during the evening but the next night at 11pm one of the guys starting playing music and appeared to be sorting clothing - I called the desk and they were told him to cut the music off and leave. I want to be compensated, the entire experience was bad. I have stayed at the Staybridge in Glenview Illinois and Okemos pales in comparison - the breakfast brunch was subpar to Glenview's. I will contact IHG as well.
