"An absolute gem of a hotel in a great location in Okayama. The hotel was an easy walk from the station and the staff (along with the hotel robot Mii who was so cute) were amazing throughout the stay. The rooms were huge by Japan standards and very comfortable. The hotel has such a lively vibe and really felt like home. I would definitely stay here again!!"

"It's a nice place. Very nice & helpful manager. But a 20-min walk to the train station. 10-min walk to store. A traditional home & town setting meaning living with the locals out-drying clothes, occasional cigarette smokes & noises at night, some wee hrs, & some early mornings, and occasional spider visit. There's AC & full rotating fan. A fridge, TV, Wifi & Laundry-only machine & beddings. All hangers to hang-dry laundered clothes. Small bath/toilet/sink/ laundry washer all in one room. Not ideal for heavy-packers and afraid of spiders, don't like cigarette smokes & unexpected noises at unexpected times. But, the place includes kitchen & wares, regular dining table & induction oven too. Toiletries available. Neat town."
