Lovely week

Wonderful spacious house fully supplied with everything you need. Beautiful views and a get deck and hot tub. Close to the awesome Skaha beach and other parts of Penticton. We had 3 kids 2 - 6 and they loved it. Mary Ellen was great and easy to reach. Would love to go again!

Beautiful property with a view

The property was stunning and very clean, with a great view. The property managers were very communicative and adaptable to our plans as our flight was delayed, postponing our checkin time. It was a lovely stay!

Awesome Location

This property is located in the Okanagan and close to wineries and other attractions. The view is spectacular, the facility is clean and spacious and very comfortable. The property manager was east to deal with and helpful.

This was the perfect place to accommodate a large group. We Had plenty of space and it was so comfortable. The location offered privacy and was conveniently located on the wine trail. The house had everything we needed , it was perfect. Thank you so much for letting us stay there!

Peaceful retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Very spacious and comfortable. The view from the deck is breathtaking and great to watch the sunset. Close to Penticton and OK Falls, Oliver. A great base to go onto the wine trail and fruit orchards, as well as water activities at Skaha beach.

Another great Stay

This was our second time at this Skaha Lake property and again we enjoyed our stay. Check in with Mary-Ellen was a breeze. Lots of space is a great feature as are the hot tub and beautiful view of the lake from the large deck. With the summer heat he A/C over all works well through the day although the upper level was a a bit stuffy at night. A great central location with easy access to many amenities. Thanks again for a great stay!

Family gathering

Lovely house, helpful owners, stunning location. Heavy snow didn't dampen our enthusiasm to see as much as possible of the beautiful area, and sitting in the hot tub on the deck in the late afternoon / early evening was always quite special. Difficult to find much at fault, and would certainly return.

Home Away From Home

Pictures don’t do justice to this stunning private retreat. It was perfect for a multigenerational family reunion. The games room was a hit and there was something for everyone. The large kitchen was bright and well equipped.we were greeted and oriented by our hosts who were in constant but non intrusive contact-just checking in to confirm we didn’t need anything. Highly recommended!

Beautiful huge home with everything you need. great location

We enjoyed this beautiful huge home with 3 enormous in suite king br and 3 nice b rooms. Location was perfect. Short walk to the lake...many great vineyards in the area. The house offers great kitchen, double dining, enormous game room and great patio with small h tub and fire pit and bbq. Little problem with in suite shower, but 5 bathrooms are more than enough for 5 couples to enjoy their stay. We would live to come again. Thank you!

Fantastic Stay for Large Group

We were a large group of 4 families with young kids. The house is massive. It has plenty of rooms and space to accommodate everyone, including a games room with pool table. It was very cleaned upon arrival & had everything we needed. The deck space is perfect with the hot tub, picnic benches, and the fire pit. The view is incredible. It is a short 10-15 min drive up to Penticton for grocery essentials & incredibly close to Blasted Church & Painted Rock Winery. I would highly recommend this house & would love to stay here again.

This perfectly appointed house was great for our family as we visited to participate in Ironman Canada. Plenty of space, everything you need in the kitchen. Very helpful and communicative owner!

Spacious, clean and comfortable!

Skaha Lake retreat was the perfect getaway for our family of 14, which included four grandkids. The entertainment kitchen was perfect for the family gathering along with double doors out to the outside patio, hot tub, loungers, and barbecue area. Plenty of parking made it a breeze for our family along with a great concrete area for kids to ride their bikes. Spacious bedrooms and large play room for the kids made our little getaway a breeze. Mary-Ellen was a very gracious host, welcoming us and being very responsive when we had questions during our stay. The house was also located on a very quiet street and only about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to returning soon!

Beautiful property and location

The house is very clean and well-kept, despite being a little dated. Master Ensuite shower, with 4 different water nozzles, should probably have an instruction sheet for operation, as it was tough to figure out. Otherwise, zero complaints, we'd rent the property again in the future!

We are a group of family and friends who frequently rent and stay at places around the province. This was one of the best stocked properties we have stayed in, as they really thought of everything. Spacious layout and breath taking views ensured a comfortable and happy trip for all.

Summer space for 12

Our family of 12 enjoyed our stay at this property. The spacious house is very nice and with plenty of room for all. More shade would be nice for the late afternoon/dinner hour. The house, located high on a hill, was indeed across the street from the lake, but not nearly as close or convenient as we believed it would be. A far superior beach area was located with a 10-15 minute drive. Some excellent local wineries were found very close. Guests will need to be comfortable with taxidermy as it is absolutely everywhere throughout the house.....in fact, one might say òverkill!

Great family get together

We had lots of room for meals and for sitting around. It was nice to have two separate sitting area. TV in one room and our duplo blocks in the other. It was too hot to sit on deck in afternoon. Bedrooms were great except the air conditioning didn’t work particularly well in the downstairs bedroom. It was great in all the other bedrooms.

Quiet getaway

Everything was great only thing I would say is the AC system was not that great you would cook if it was the peak of summer and we did leave the doors and windows closed. Heating and cooling is what I do a bigger unit outside should be considered

Guys’ Weekend at Skaha Lake

The house was exactly what we needed for a group of 11! The kitchen and barbecue were fantastic, the games room was well set up for a night in, and the hot tub was perfect. All of the rooms were spacious and comfortable and all but one had an ensuite. All in all, it was the perfect place for a weekend away. If you are planning to head in to Penticton and don’t want to drive yourselves, just be aware that it is a bit of a cab ride to get there ($40-$50), but it’s very doable on occasion. Would highly recommend the property for anyone who wants a bit more indoor and outdoor space set apart from the neighbours!
