This was a perfect, private getaway with everything we needed. More than just the necessities it was equipped with many little extras that made it feel like home. Great communication.
Our stay was wonderful! Had everything we needed and more. Hosts were quick to communicate. Loved the welcome guide to suggest places to swim, fish and eat. If you have young children, they have everything you need!!! Very clean. Beautiful and quiet property.
Andrew and Brittney are such great hosts! The listing immediately caught our eye and they were so nice and accommodating during the booking process.
Check in and check out were super easy and the property is even nicer in person! We stayed here during Spring Break away from school and stress and we are so glad we did. 10/10 will definitely be back again!!
Our stay was amazing. Everything was very clean - it was like staying in luxury up in the woods. Communication with the host was flawless, she was very helpful and fast to reply. Hot tub was clean and perfect. So many extras that we didnโt expect like sโmores kit, paper towels, zip lock bags and tin foil, bathroom and shower supplies, the list goes on. We look forward to staying here again!!
We loved it. My husband and I wanted a lovely place on a river, far from civilization โ and we got it! Brittney was a wonderful host. Responsive and helpful. She made everything so easy. We definitely hope to return!

Beautiful and cozy!
This cabin was just awesome. Very quiet and private, with a gorgeous path down to a babbling river. Great set up for a bonfire & relaxing by the river. Plenty of parking. The interior was exceptionally clean. We loved the sunroom & the cozy living room. Plenty of room for a girlโs weekend or a family. The coffee bar was a lifesaver also because I forgot to pack my coffee! Amazing experience.
My husband and I booked a last minute mini vacation and our 2 adult children met us up there. The cabin is exactly as pictured and so clean and cute. The 4 of us had just enough space without being on top of each other. The fall colors were beautiful and deer and eagles visited us one day. Brittney was quick to respond to all our questions. Loved everthing about the Chippewa River Cabin!
Our stay was perfect! Peaceful, quiet, so comfortable, relaxing.
The cabin has big windows on all sides. When you walk in the living room you see out the living room windows, the sun room and kitchen windows also. The great outdoors surrounds you. (But without the bugs)
The bed was very comfortable. The entire cabin was spotless.
We would highly recommend this cabin for everyone who wants peace, quiet and nature.
It is gorgeous!
We had a great stay and hosts were great with communication. The property is just as described. Beautiful setting on the Chippewa River. The new hot tub was a big hit with our family. Very relaxing. We enjoyed playing some of the provided games and even ordered a couple we really liked. We had our 1 yr old grandson with and was so thankful to have the high chair, toys, etc available.
Sitting by the double sided fire to wrap up and start our days was wonderful.
Would like to stay again in future.
My mom and I had a wonderful time our 10 days there. Smooth check-in, exceptionally clean and all the amenities at our fingertips. We loved that it was secludedโnot another person in sight. We looooved the wood burning fireplace the most and enjoyed many fires. There were so many extra things that we didnโt take advantage of, but love if we come back in warmer weatherโkayak, canoe, outdoor firepit with comfy Adirondack chairs, and even the Bags yard game. Any questions we had were answered quickly. The little town close by (10 min away) is adorableโwith a grocery store (co-op), coffee shop and bar.
We booked this for a little family week getaway, it checked all of our boxes. Close to water, secluded, cozy, the hot tub, and enough space for all of us!
The hosts are amazing and very communicative before and during your stay if you have any questions or feedback!
We brought a couple extra kayaks, and used the ones on the property. There is a launch just up the road that gives you about 30 minutes, and another just a bit further that was just over an hour.
The fire pit near the water was great and very relaxing at night along with the hot tub! We used the grill a few times as well which was very convenient!
If you have enough people do a family bags tournament!
All in all we had a great stay, and will be back if possible!
This cabin was a perfect relaxing escape for us. The cabin is surrounded by trees with a view of the river, we didn't see another person the entire time. We enjoyed sitting in the room overlooking the river, we even saw a doe and fawn cross the clearing one morning.
The gorgeous location means there are bugs galore! Bring mosquito spray for yourself and make sure your dog is up to date on their tick preventative. A tick removal tool is also recommended.
The cabin itself is adorable, the owners obviously put time and care into the location. The hot tub is a great addition. My SO is now shopping for a french press coffee maker after using the one at the coffee bar.
Only changes I would make would be a) adding pavers or stones to the hot tub to prevent sand from getting in it b) a shelf or caddy in the shower and c) supplying bar keepers friend to clean the stainless steel pots/pans.
We loved how remote this cabin was, it was so quiet and beautiful. We loved the property and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend if youโre looking for a lively stay in the woods.
Cabin was nice; maybe a bit more remote than what I was hoping; host was very accommodating on a short notice trip. Wonderful cabin; enjoyed the hot tub and the view of the river.
We had such an amazing time. This property was everything it was described to be and more! Everything was perfect. The hosts were very helpful and communicative. We really hopeTo be back very soon!
Absolutely great place to rest, especially if you'd like to be near a region with many lakes. Well kept, very clean, and the owners are very friendly and easy to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had a great girlsโ weekend and enjoyed the peaceful, rustic setting. That said, accessing the river was difficult due to the rocky shoreline, one friend was injured and needed urgent care. We also didnโt realize smoking wasnโt allowed anywhere on the property until after booking, so sharing that upfront could help future guests.
