"This place is immaculate. The host is genuine and so kind. Very peaceful and calm during the night. And free to enter and exit as you please. The living room and kitchen are super welcoming and spacious for everyone—you're free to use the kitchen like it's your own, and there's plenty of room to hang out. "The hotel is older for sure but very nice, the room was spacious and clean, the pool was fantastic and the people who ran the poolside bar were great. We loved the beach and watching the surfers ride the waves!! The continental breakfast was an added bonus 😋! We'd definitely go back!!"

"The property is beautiful with breathtaking views of the ocean. The restaurant is wonderful and the food is very healthy. We enjoyed a few spa treatments and they were completely amazing. We highly recommend the lymphatic drainage massage. We definitely felt pampered here. The staff was always helping and we appreciate their ability to speak English. Remember that ocean front is not beach front. The beach was a few kilometers away. Also, it's a few kilometers from shopping and restaurants. We found bolt rides very simple and affordable."

"Great experience from check-in to checkout. Room was very nice. It was a last minute booking and I thought they would give me the worst room in the hotel but it was not. Breakfast was tasty. Would recommend the little custard tarts. Paid parking and free on property. We parked in front of the hotel. Great neighborhood and easy walk to the town though I would recommend good walking shoes anywhere in Portugal especially the cobblestone streets😂"

Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. What truly made our stay exceptional was the kindness and hospitality of our host. On the last day of our visit, we experienced a medical emergency, and she went above and beyond to help us. She accompanied us to the hospital, helped with translation, and guided us through the entire process. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to help during such a stressful time meant so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful. She also provided us with helpful recommendations for places to visit and things to do in the area, making our stay even more enjoyable. We cannot thank her enough for her outstanding hospitality and genuine care. We highly recommend Manelisa Cascais and would gladly stay here again!"

"Overall this was a good place for our groupof 7. Please note there is no AC (some references to it in reviews and house rules - but I think they were talking about provided fans), which was fine for the beginning of the week when it was cool and breezy, with night time temperatures cool and refreshing, but the provided fans didn’t cut it the last couple of days when it got very hot and did not cool off at night. It is “walkable” to a few things; but mostly used Uber for every outing - even within Cascais, The closest bus stop was a 19 minute walk, closest supermarket was 20 minutes walk. The shared pool was a nice option, it’s nothing special, a few loungers and a clean pool. We had some trouble with ants in the kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe. Overall, would probably look for something closer to city center and with AC, but those things aside, it was a nice stay."
