"We loved staying at Mikansei! Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed ourselves in the shared spaces, including the kitchen, bathrooms, and communal areas. "Staff were very helpful when i checked in here. I did get the impression they dont get too many overseas travellers but this did not stop them from being friendly and providing the service they would provide anyone staying there. This place also advertised a public bath available which i regretfully did not use as i was not there long enough. I was only here for one night on a stop but when i took a stroll around the neighbourhood i felt very safe and there were plenty of convenience stores....

"Room was spacious and well appointed with a great view of Mt Fuji. The bathroom was large with an oversized tub. The hotel feels high end even though it’s beside an amusement park. The free bus stops right outside and takes you into town to experience Mt. Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi and many restaurants. We did not eat at the hotel so have no insight into the restaurant."
