"This place is beautiful, and the host, Jamie, does a great job to make you feel at home. We stay at several vrbo’s every year and this one definitely stands out. The bathrooms and kitchen are very nice, and the main spaces are plenty large enough for a birthday weekend friends trip. The cleaners do a great job and there are ample towels and linens. "Its a very unique and historic property. Loved being top of the mountain and enjoying the sunsets. It is also conveniently located for so many of the wonderful attractions in the Laurel Highlands area. It's well maintained, but old. Service was good. Updating the technology and AV would be welcome. The restaurant was very nice and a good value. It's one of the only good hotels in the Ohiopyle area, so we may come back. We love this area."

"Nice large modern rooms, but there was nobody at check-in to check us in. We had to go looking for them and they were in the bar. The bar had basic food. I really enjoy going to swimming pools and Jacuzzi’s hot tubs, but apparently some guests had broken the swimming pool. How does that even happen so the part they needed to fix the swimming pool was on backorder, so there was less to do. if you like jogging, you can jog along all of the golf paths. if you love golf it’s an ideal place for you to go."

"We really liked this place. It felt very private and remote, but was an easy drive to the town of Ohiopyle, Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, Bittersweet Cafe, hiking trailheads and other things we wanted to see. One bit of advice for others based on our mistake: We did not download the instructions for entry. We arrived at night and couldn’t call up the gate code on our phones because there was no cell service around the house. We had to drive back to a main road to get the gate and house entry codes. Once you get to the house, the Wi-Fi worked great, and the property is beautiful."

"Quiet. Away from everything. Which for me, was preferable. Not a bad hotel by any means, but the rooms could use some work, carpet is worn and doesn't feel great. Pillows were incredibly flat. Shower head and pressure wasn't great. No major concerns. For the price, Id stay again. Staff was friendly when you could actually find them."
