"Our cabin/townhome space was beautiful, spacious, and peaceful. We loved how cozy, clean, and comfortable it was. The fireplace was awesome. The master room with the bathtub was super cool. Everything was almost perfect. We had two main complaints that didn't hinder us from having a great time, but if improved would make it a perfect place. 1. having a ceiling fan in both bedrooms: that would provide us the ability to sleep more comfortably. Not a big deal that one wasn't, but does provide more value to the space and comfort to the guests. 2. The water: this one is bigger. There was no water filter so the water had a very strong smell of iron. We didn't even want to try to taste it - yuck. We are more health-conscious so we just immediately went out and bought drinking water and a big water jug to use when cooking. Showering was pretty difficult to handle because of how strong the smell was and there was no way we could bathe in it, so we were bummed to not utilize the amazing tub. The dishwasher was stained with iron grime so we didn't want to utilize that either and opted to hand wash out dishes. Putting in a water filter to take out the iron would go a LONG way to making the space more comfortable and useable for the guests. We loved the space so the water really was the only "big" issue we had."

"Very nice home. Super clean and welcoming. Good communication with the host. Make sure to bring shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Those are not included. Also, they don’t provide firewood. No TV’s in bedrooms other than the master. The grass needed to be cut and was very long. The bedroom above the garage that sleeps 4 people is a bit strange. Basically, 2 beds and nothing else. My kids struggled having to sleep in that location and no bathroom in that space. Overall, the house was fine but I do feel like some additional amenities and updates to the bedrooms would be helpful. Especially for the cost."

"There was so much to love about this charming lakeside cabin. The warm pine paneling, thoughtful decorations, and cozy atmosphere gave it the unmistakable character of a true Minnesota cabin. The easy access to the lake was another big plus, and the lake view was simply breathtaking. On our first evening, we were treated to an unforgettable sunset over the water.Unfortunately, the bed was much too firm for both my wife and me. We eventually had to move to the living room, where we slept on the sofa and recliner. Because a comfortable night’s sleep is such an important part of any stay, I felt I had to deduct one star. Aside from the bed, however, we truly enjoyed the cabin and everything its beautiful lakeside setting had to offer."
