"The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday all year. Our balcony was loaded with spider webs but they did come clean it off after I asked. The bathroom had a window that was colored but did shine into the bedroom when the light was turned on in the night one set of sink lights didn’t work (maybe because it would have been too bright). The lights by the bed had to be turned on at the wall switch in order to use the attached electrical plugs. But overall it was nice and we would come again."

"Our time at The Hill House was great! We had 3 people and stayed for 4 days. It’s very accommodating and cozy, and it’s all ready and set up to move right in to stay! Jeremy was wonderful with all the communication leading up to, during, and after our stay! Highly recommend!"

"Lovely overall setting and the actual home is so very thoughtfully appointed. A delightful home and location! The Clubhouse was open, boats could be rented, and it was all a really fantastic trip! Place was immaculately cleaned. This is such a premier lakefront property. There really is not a typical sandy beach but there is a fun public beach very close at Father Hennepin state park."

"We have been renting a place for our family reunion, now 30 people, for the past 15 years. We have never gone to the same place twice. Hillman house was so perfect for a large group that within the first two days we all said "This is the place. Let's sign up again for next time." Hillman house has a great lay out for a large group. It has lots of space for everyone to be together and for quiet conversations to catch up. Our stay was guaranteed with the Pickleball building. Even if it had rained all week we would have had a great time. The place is set up with our stay in mind with towels, shampoo, lotion all available so one could fly in and have an easy stay with just a carry on. Lily was wonderful! She is so easy to work with, always available and very helpful. I am so glad we found Hillman House and Lily."

"The cabin was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the room layout worked well for our family. TJ was very responsive with questions and left us ingredients to make s'mores, which was a nice treat! The cabin has boat access to the lake through a channel. I'm guessing you would have to go to a beach area if you wanted to swim or float though."
