"Great house, nice location, but not as private as we would have liked. There were houses on both sides and across the creek, but thankfully they weren’t occupied for our whole stay. The neighbors were nice, we loved the outdoor space and enjoyed fishing in the creek. The location was great, close to the fly fishing spots on our list and close enough to town if you wanted to go for food or drinks."

"From the very beginning of booking the host was very responsive to my questions, we’ve been anticipating this trip for a few months. Once we arrived we were blown away, it’s absolutely beautiful here. Everything was clean, everything worked, beautiful setting and so peaceful. The host called to make sure we arrived safely which meant a lot to me. All the rooms were clean, everything you need for cooking, beautiful creek right out back to fish from. The fire pit area is amazing, I just can’t say enough good things about it. We absolutely plan on booking this again and bringing our kids who love to fish as well. It’s close enough to town for groceries (Walmart nearby), close to Blue Ridge and the train station which is a must do. Yet you feel so secluded here, it’s beyond peaceful. Our only disappointment is we can’t live here! We celebrated our 21 year anniversary here."

"Perfect for a romantic get away! The cottage was very clean and we loved the decor. We had the most relaxing weekend. The location is secluded and quiet which was exactly what we wanted. There is a short walk from the parking area to the cottage, but we didn’t mind at all. The town with some restaurants and a great bar (Bar 21) is close by."

"My wife and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary this year, and her birthday. I chose this particular venue base on a Facebook post I saw by a young lady who had visited there before. I contacted the owner and I was very impressed with the pictures and the videos. Although sometimes the pics a more impressive than the "in-person" experience, that was not the case! We were blown away! Not just by the aesthetics, but the amenities. They left nothing to be desired. What I mean by that is, if you forgot anything, no worries, Boujee Lodge has you covered. Although we brought everything we needed, it was already there. I was also very impressed with the rapid response to any questions I had. I would say that I got a response within 5 minutes, every time. The place was immaculate! I have already contacted friends and family regarding plans to visit again. Thanks again for great stay and we look forward visiting again!"
