Northcoast Village Impeccable Unit with both Ocean and Harbor Views

  • Beautiful single-story unit facing north with stunning views of the harbor and ocean beach in gorgeous North Coast Village. Enjoy the views from patio, along with a full kitchen and updated bathroom. The unit has a gorgeous ocean breeze but does not have air conditioning. The property features lush landscaping with koi ponds, waterfalls, and streams. There is a large pool and spa for your use, both heated year-round. There are washer/dryer amenities in the laundry areas on site, making it easy to do several loads at a time if needed. There is also a weight gym and cardio gym with a clubhouse for pool, ping pong or relaxing. Additional amenities include a putting green and direct beach access where bikes, skateboards and walkers are found. It’s just a few-minute walk to the beach, pier, and harbor, as well as nearby restaurants and bars. The unit includes beach chairs, boogie boards, linens, and beach towels. Nearby attractions include Legoland, Duffy electric boat ride by the Harbor, the flower farms in Carlsbad, Jet Ski and SUP rentals at Carlsbad Lagoon, the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido, SeaWorld, Disneyland, and Knott’s Berry Farm. Temecula is also nearby, with more than 50 wineries and a great Old Town area. The city is very walkable it’s in a great central location! Charmingly decorated with beach themed linens and decor. The living room is geared for comfort! Very well outfitted kitchen and linen cupboard. Nice additional amenities, like beach chairs and beach wagon. Also games, books, and magazines. Unit is very convenient to parking, and to stairs that access grounds/pool/gym/beach. Beautiful view and nice breeze when windows are open. We particularly enjoyed the unexpected treat of rainbows cast across the room as the sun was setting and hitting beveled mirror edges as it sank! Host was very kind and supportive during our extended stay. Couldn't ask for better! Comfortable bed, updated kitchen and bath. Bath was stocked with a variety of amenities. One caution goes out to those sensitive to the mildew/mold that is extremely common in buildings near water. This unit and the adjacent one (also musty) sit over a lovely water feature (think babbling brook), but that comes at the cost of high humidity and mustiness until the unit gets aired out.

Great place to stay

This is a great place to stay with a view of the sea and sunset watching. David was very helpful when the hot water went out in the building and directed us to the showers in the gym. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the space. Super clean. Check in was very easy. We were able to enjoy the heated pool and sauna during our stay and walk to the beach/pier! We will definitely be back again!

Sunset and harbor view. Great location!

This was our 5th summer stay at North Coast Village and this unit was our favorite! The location in the huge complex was easy to negotiate and quiet. The unit is truly immaculate and the décor comfortable and charming. Quick walk to the pool, beach and bar b que.

Pacific vacation

My family and i were travelling to the west coast from Virginia for an event and wanted to stay near the Pacific Ocean. We couldn't have picked a better spot. The location is beautiful, and Tara is an amazingly, responsive host. We loved walking to the Harbor for coffee or breakfast and then another short walk after to see the sea lions. We can't wait to come back to CA and will definitely check the availability of this unit when we do.

January in Oceanside

This was our third time to stay at North Coast Village. We have come back each time because we have enjoyed the view of the ocean, the numerous amenities and the garden-like landscaping of the property. The unit we rented this time was clean and quiet. The bed was super comfortable as was the living room furniture. It is easy to walk to shops, restaurants and of course to the beach. I have recommended North Coast Village to friends and family.

Lovely location

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely location! The complex is older, so don't expect A/C or a slick modern feel. It has beach house vibes, but in many of the best ways - homey, well stocked and cared for, updated kitchen and bathroom, and a responsive manager. The grounds of the complex are lovely, and the beaches are easy to access directly. Bonus points for easy parking. No noise from neighbors, and there is even a water feature outside the window, that adds calming white noise when the windows are open, in addition to views of lush foliage, butterflies and hummingbirds. The bed and sofa (not folded out) were both comfortable for our taste. Would happily stay here again in the future.

Excellent location, beautiful grounds.

Loved our stay in this unit. We ate breakfast on the patio every morning. Enjoyed watching the hummingbirds that loved the waterfall, trees and feeder by the patio. The beach is a three minute walk from the unit. Walking distance to fun shops and great food. Complex was beautifully landscaped. The Pool was great. Looked like they are expanding it as there is some construction/landscaping repair happening. We received notice that water was being shut off for a few hours one day, but we were fine. We went and explored the mission that day. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.
