Ocean, ICW and Stellar Sunset Views Await You

Escape to the ocean, bask in the sun and leave your cares behind. A queen bed and brand new queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress provide sleeping for up to 4 people. Prep your meals in the microwave and store your snacks and drinks in the tall fridge with freezer. Brew your morning coffee (ground or Kcups) in the standard or Keurig coffee makers. Jam out to tunes while you shower with our bluetooth enabled bathroom speaker. Enjoy views of the intercoastal waterway, ocean and sunset from our top floor deck. Chill to the sounds of the summer concert series across the street on the sun deck or BBQ area. Relax by the pool after a busy day at the beach and explore the downtown area - beach, pier, park, restaurants, ice cream and shops all within walking distance. Enjoy the large flat screen smart tv during your down time and stream a movie or catch up on your favorite shows. Free ice maker and pay soda machine available on the 1st floor. Enjoy the touchless bathroom sink that keeps hand germs down - it runs automatically after each flush for 20 seconds. Basic kitchen supplies provided including plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, knives, dish scrubber & soap, hand soap and dish drying rack. Kitchen supplies include sugar, creamer, coffee, salt and pepper.

To set up the sofa bed, simply reach to the back center of the couch for a handle and pull towards yourself (leaving all cushions in place). The bed should roll straight out and cushions will be kept securely in place underneath.
*Please do not attempt to move the couch by lifting it by the arms as they will come off - it's designed that way ;)

Perfect location

Came down for a wedding so wasn’t looking for a fancy/expensive place. This place for our needs perfectly. Would be great if towels and sheets were provided but other than that, enjoyed our stay!

A great stay at Casa del Sol

I was pleasantly surprised with the room. it was nicely furnished and up-to-date. With a quick night weekend stay, the refrigerator microwave, and close proximity to the beach and restaurants was perfect. The owner Paige was detailed and her communications prior to the stay and Checked into ensure all was well. I highly recommend this for one to two persons, was a great weekend on Ocean Isle Beach.

Last minute getaway

This was a last minute overnight stay. We reserved the room and got a reply within minutes from the owners. Everything was set up in under 90 minutes. Property was in a great location, perfectly appointed as described. Thank you for a perfect little respite! Will definitely recommend and stay again.

Awesome room, short walk to beach, everything we needed!

Paige was an awesome host, great communication and was willing to try and get us in early to the room so that we could make the most of our two days at the beach! The room is absolutely accommodating for two people, plenty of space and fully stocked! It was no problem bringing our own linens and towels. Quick walk to beach and we had an awesome dinner at Ocean Isle Beach Company. Only suggestions would be to add beside lamps and a full length mirror. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice and close to the beach

Although Mother Nature and health problems delayed our start to our trip, Paige was very quick to respond to my many questions. We got there a day late but had a great time. It was about a 4 to 5 min walk to get to our spot on the beach! The unit was equipped with items needed. We brought our own towels, sheets And blanket vs renting and worked out fine Definitely would stay again. Went to sugar shack for dinner and we love the food all in all a nice enjoyable long weekend. Thanks Paige!!!

A few improvements

The room was very clean, up to date, just enough room. Just a few things that could be improved 1). Needs an elevator. My husband has leg disabilities and we had quite a time getting our luggage, etc up to the third floor. The ice machine was broken for the 4 days we were there. The amenities need to be more specific. We were instructed to bring linens and towels. However we did not have hair dryer, needed TP and trash bags.

The location of the property was good as far as walking access to stores, restaurants, and the beach! The room was a bit humid the entire stay, I had both ceiling fans on and the bathroom fan on, and our towels and swimsuits did not dry after hanging on the line over the shower for 2 days..

Perfect for a short get-away.

This place is just as described in the listing. The kitchen area was nice, but a few more items such as a toaster and blender would be nice. Perfect location for walking to the beach, the pier, mini golf, ice cream, the park, etc. The small pool was an added bonus. The owner was great to communicate with and very accommodating for my son’s birthday. I gave it two stars for cleanliness because there were a few spots on the floor, one of them sticky with hair stuck to it, and there was also lots of hair stuck to the sides and edge of the bathtub. The bed had two mattress covers on it. The blue mattress cover was dirty with some spots and debris (maybe crumbs?). We removed it and there was a second (and clean) mattress pad underneath.

Nice retreat location

For my purpose of a writing retreat the location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and to Sheffield’s for supplies. Space was good for one person. Bed was comfortable. Only suggestion is that table lamps by bed and or floor lamp would improve lighting. And since there is only a microwave, microwave safe dishware would be a nice addition. Overall a nice little place!

Great location . Place was clean Wish I had known that you had to bring your own sheets and towels prior to booking rather than after . No simple courteous such as a few coffee pods - small creamers for coffee. For the money the guest pays - that definitely should be a consideration , no other issues
