Ocean Front Condo - Beautiful beach and views

Heart Key Home is on the ocean with spectacular views. We are located on the upper level of a two story building with all rooms on one level. We feature four large bedrooms with four bathrooms (one shower/tube is jack-in-jill), plus an outdoor shower. The large kitchen with top of the line appliances and double oven has enough space for creating large family / group meals that will be remembered. There is seating for four at the counter and the reclaimed wood dining table can seat up to 10. There is a TV in the living room, while the seating is focused on the ocean. The open concept allows ocean views from the kitchen, dining and living spaces. The covered porch is an excellent place to watch the ocean and relax in the shade. This home is new to our family and we have put many hours bringing back the beauty. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. (This is the top level of a two unit building). This winter we added street side stairs for safety and convenience. Please check out our new listing of the lower level under #1715873.

Beautiful and well maintained beach house with every item you will need for your stay (furniture, kitchen items, TVs, hair dryer, big size refrigerator, new W&D, elevator, beach toys). The owner was very responsive and nice. I recommend this place to any family with kids.

Perfect family getaway for beach / race weekend

We chose this location for the abundant bedrooms/bathrooms and proximity to the beach where we came for a half marathon. This was a perfect choice for 6 adults and 6 kids. Gorgeous ocean views in a nicely finished, spacious setting. The easy access to the beach and included beach chairs, toys, etc. made this a no-hassle stay. Will definitely come back!

Great place to get together with friends and family

The house was cleaned, very spacious, and well-maintained and also great view of the beach (happened to see Sun rise and set from the deck). There was 3.5 bathrooms. We had a great time out there during the New Year celebration.

Living on the Porch

Beautiful view of the ocean. Well maintained and equipped for a week of living on the beach and enjoying beautiful ocean view. Well equipped for our family of 8 and plenty of room for dinner with 9 other family members during our 35th year at OIB! Already made our reservation for 2025!

Family gathering

My children, grandchildren, and myself gathered for a couple days to celebrate our Christmas. The bedroom setup accommodated us perfectly and all beds were comfortable. The beach view is wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked and it is great to have all linens provided. The hosts were very responsive.

Excellent location and property

We had six adults staying here and never felt crowded. Everything was as advertised and very nice. Location was fantastic and nice job by Mary with all communications. Water pressure in the kitchen was very low and remember to bring your own soap and shampoo. Please don't expect the elevator to work as the parts have been on back order for many months.

Family beach getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. My husband and I along with our adult children and spouses, and parents (in their 80s) stayed with us. The ease to and from the beach was great! My father who is 81 and has COPD was able to utilize the elevator when he was feeling “winded”. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities : large kitchen and refrigerator, large dining table, comfortable living room, comfortable beds, large washer and drier, beautiful porch with rocking chairs and view of the beach, fire pit and corn hole, beach chairs with wagon to transport to and from the beach. The umbrellas were a little aged and breaking from salt water exposure and sand but we easily rented a shimbumi shade from the beach store down the street. I highly recommend this property!

Quick Trip

We only stayed two nights, but didn’t want to leave! The kitchen is STOCKED if you like to cook; tons of pots, pans, dishes, etc. (We went out to eat for our meals.) The back porch was our FAVORITE spot! The home also came with all the beach gear you could need. There were even beach umbrellas! The home had Kleenex and toilet paper and paper towels and hand wash; so nice to not have to worry about packing those things! The elevator was great for my 75 year old mother. There were only four of us, so the house had plenty of room. Even with more people, the house is perfectly spacious, with each room having its own toilet. Great feature! The beach has a TON of shells, so we were able to bring some home as a souvenir. We highly recommend Maria’s! We had pizza and calzones delivered our first night. We ate at Sharky’s the second evening, and enjoyed the shrimp pasta and views. Ocean Isle Creamery is always a yummy treat. The owner is so kind and extremely responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

April Getaway

Loved everything about this stay. Super clean. Very well equipped. The fridge and freezer are commercial size. Tons of extra pillows and blankets and bath towels and beach towels. Mattresses were great. Elevator is a plus for this top floor unit. Backyard is amazing. Outside shower has hot and cold water. I would 100% rent again. Bath mats would be a plus. Only recommendation I have is to reorganize email with instructions for accessing unit. First instruct to 1. Take elevator or stairs to top floor where front door is located. 2. Key lockbox is located next to unit’s front door. The Instructional email we received, followed by signage on ground level stating entrance was in the back, in addition to “other” lock boxes located in the backyard area, left us confused, after a very long day with many hours of driving. Both Mary and her son were extremely responsive however and we got it all squared away pretty quickly. Highly recommended!

Perfect Location! Lot's of extras!

This was our third time staying here and we absolutely love it. The house has everything you need and more. I love that we don't have to haul all the beach paraphernalia because they have all you need to enjoy your vacation. Chairs, toys, umbrellas you name it! They even provide beach towels. We love being right on the beach and OIB is such a cute quaint and safe beach town. We will definitely be back!
