Home has been fully renovated and you are sure to fall in love as soon as you arrive.....
You will breathe in the salt air and feel yourself begin to relax as soon as you make it to the front porch rockers. Ocean is clearly visible from front of home and front porch.
Home has top of the line Kitchen, dining, great room/Family room with Open concept design. Dining table seats 10 comfortably and 6 can eat at large kitchen island.
Front porch has wonderful views of ocean and enough room and seating for whole family to sit out and enjoy!!
Beach access is diagonal & directly across the street from property for easy beach days spent enjoying the waves and salty air!!
A private pool has been added as well.
There is also a gas grill in the outdoor area by the pool for your cookout/grilling enjoyment!!
Just a little info on our Renovation....
All renovations and the pool were completed in June of 2018. Take a look at the top notch updates made and see all the high end finishes through out. We also added two bunk rooms, both with one Queen size with Full over top!! Each bunk has an LED reading light over bed!!
Two front master suites have King size beds and Private bathrooms. The two rear bedrooms have Queen size bed in one and full in the other connected to Jack and Jill bathrooms. Total of 6 bedrooms in all. All 4 bathrooms have fully tiled showers or tub combo.
Under the home is a nice outdoor shower and also a seating area to relax out of the sun or in the evening hours and feel the ocean breeze.

Please check out our other Property at Ocean Isle also. 13 Pender Street is on a canal leading to the Inter coastal Waterway and just a short walk to the beach.

Beautiful home, great location

The home was every bit as nice, spacious, and clean is in the photos! The price was incredibly reasonable. We were in town for a wedding and the venue was right across the street, so the location was perfect for us. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which we took advantage of! Highly recommend this home for a stay in Ocean Isle Beach

Family get-a-way

We stayed at this beautiful property for a family vacation. Everything is exactly as pictured. Host is very easy to reach and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this home!

Great Family Vacation

Another great vacation at the Terrell’s home on Ocean Isle Beach. Again, Rhonda was very accommodating and checked in with us regularly. We had a small issue with an appliance and it was taken care of the next day. Our family of 12 love OIB and the Terrell home.

Great house

The house is identical to the description; clean, nicely furnished and well equipped kitchen. Communication was easy with Rhonda. Great location with pool for easy entertaining of the children while dinner is being prepared. Very pleased with the everything.

Home base for beach wedding

Property was warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Our daughter was married on the beach with 80 friends and family in attendance. Some of our closest family and friends stayed with us. Others dropped by for coffee or a drink sometime during the celebration weekend. The property accommodated all of us with ease and certainly helped make the celebration a joyous one.

Friends Weekend

We had a group of 10 adults and 3 kids and all enjoyed our stay very much. The house location is fantastic just a short (1-2 minute) walk from the beach. The updated, open kitchen/dining/living interior was perfect for a group to spend quality time together. We used the pool as well and that was pleasant in the day. Plenty of parking, etc. and just an all-around great experience. The host's communication was fantastic and she even made sure to get the place cleaned early which allowed us for an early check-in. We'll be back!

Ocean Isle Extended Family Stay

We loved this house! We had 6 adults and 5 kids with an extra bed to spare. It was so clean, great amenities, and a super short walk to the beach (and we loved all of the beach supplies provided). The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies- we had everything we needed to make family. meals every night. The pool was a little chilly for the April weather, but our kids still managed to swim and enjoy it. Rhonda is such a delight to communicate with and so responsive. We would definitely come back and stay!

SUPER RENTAL

This property was perfect for our family. The house location was great, only a short walk to the beach entrance. There was plenty of space on the beach and the water was great for all ages. Many amenities were provided and available for our use. Having a pool was a wonderful addition compared to our prior rentals. Our younger adults enjoyed Corn Hole competitions and using the available bikes. Both inside and outside the house were so many places to sit and relax. Thank you, Rhonda, for being responsive to our needs and we’ll see your rental again in 2024.

Family reunion

Great house for adults & kids. Since beach access was ADA we could load wagon with kids things and easily access beach no stairs. House is beautiful and fully stocked. Beds comfortable. The pool was the cherry on top!! Wonderful. Ping pong table was also a big hit for both kids & adults. Bikes and other amenities made our stay perfect. Thr owner was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this property but don’t want too many to go and fill up availability calendar 😱 cause we want to go back. The only recommendation is maybe a new set of pots & pans in kitchen. Current ones well used & coating wearing off. This was only thing I could recommend. This house definitely a 5!!!!! Highly recommend.

Great space for family and/or friends

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in OIB and the property was all we hoped for and more. We had a mixture of couples and singles, along with 2 kiddos, and the makeup of rooms and beds was perfect for our group. The renovation done a couple of years ago created a wonderful, large eating and kitchen area along with ample seating and space to relax. The front deck/porch has a half dozen rockers - well used by our coffee drinking, reading crew. The pool was a hit with the kids, as was the ping pong table (enjoyed by all) and the hammock chair downstairs. The only drawback for families with young kids who go to bed before the adults is that the rooms all have entry off of the great room. It was a challenge to get kids to bed when adults were still up in the great room laughing and talking. Our kids were a bit older (9 and 13) so it was less of a challenge for us than if they were younger. Communication was great, arrival easy, and the short walk to the beach across the street didn't stop anyone from multiple trips. Thanks so much for the hospitality. We hope to return one day!

Property was in very good shape. We noticed some updates since some previous visits to this same property. Rhonda is a super owner and checks in regularly to make sure things are good. Property is convenient to the beach and the pool in the backyard is a great place to relax. Transition in and out was smooth. Kitchen was fully stocked with necessary amenities. WiFi access was easy as Password is provided at checkin. Our family had a GREAT week. We’ll be back!

Once again, we had a wonderful stay. Rhonda is always checking in to make sure everything is okay and asking if we need anything. The location of the house is perfect, as the ADA beach access is only three houses down. This allows my elderly (although don't tell her I said that) mother to be able to join us for a day on the beach. We have been vacationing at OIB for several decades, so we have the packing down pat, but the garage has chairs, bikes, and umbrellas, which is nice if you forgot or need an extra one. Love the pool and all the outdoor locations. Looking forward to next year's trip!

The perfect place!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at One of a Kind Home. The home works for all ages, young and old. The home is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The home is extremely clean and all appliances are top notch. The pool is perfect and access to the beach is ADA so very helpful with little ones. Rhonda is a great owner. She responds quickly to any questions or problems. One of a Kind Home is a 20 on scale of 1-10.

A wonderful beach home in a great location! This most attractive gem of a home is open, airy, and bright with spacious living, dining, & kitchen areas and wonderful outdoor areas & amenities. Easter break 2025

We had 4 coupleson this trip. The guys golfed and the ladies had pletty of beach time. The house was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well stocked and the living area was great for hanging out. The area under the house by the pool was grat for cornhole and ping pong. Our only complaint was the gas grill needs to be upgraded. grat house!

Coastal Carolina gem

This property is beautifully decorated, well stocked and a great location. Took a group of teens who enjoyed the downstairs hang area and the parents enjoyed the deck! Easy walk to the beach with many beach amenities available for use. Owner very responsive to questions and checked in to make sure we were having a great stay.

Wedding Weekend

Love this house

The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need. We particularly enjoyed the front porch and the grands loved the pool. The large front windows bring light and cheer. Not only is the beach access a quick walk but no stairs make it easy to get your beach gear across the wooden path. We hope to come again. Rhonda is a wonderful host.
