In addition to private home pool, the OCEANFRONT pool and clubhouse is only 30 yds away. Stay away from crowds at public access points with your private OCEAN access through clubhouse!!!

Perfect golf getaway

This was the perfect home for my friends and I to stay during our annual golf trip! The house was immaculate and met our needs perfectly. John was a pleasure to deal with!

Perfect vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay. We booked this house while we were in Ocean Isle Beach for our wedding. We had plenty of room for our family. We were able to host a rehearsal dinner. The location is great. We loved the pool! We would definitely stay here again!

Family Week

We had a great time at John’s property. You can quickly access the beach from the house which was convenient with my 1.5 year old. You can also walk to central ocean isle for coffee, food and a fun family park. We would stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful, John was a superior host if we ever needed him and his house was exactly what a bunch of professional adults needed for time off to enjoy the beach. We already can’t wait to come back next year!!

Nice location!

We loved the house and the location! We called about one issue and they responded and fixed it quickly. It’s right across the street from beach access and a short walk to the wonderful “homemade” ice cream shop!

Great beach house for a large group

Our church ladies‘ retreat was very enjoyable in this house. It is spacious, has comfortable beds, and it’s an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked, but our one suggestion would be to add some shelves or a pantry cabinet for guests to put their groceries/food. It is a very comfortable home, and we would definitely rent again!

Nice first time in OIB

Nice property close to the beach. Clean, appliances a bit finicky, but they are older so understandable. Issues with ceiling fans resolved quickly and response from manager was great. Would certainly stay again.

Good Location/Plenty of Space

Had a great time celebrating my husband's 50th birthday with friends. Had a few hiccups when we first got there, but John was very attentive and took care of them right away. House was in a great location, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms to accommodate. Would rent again!

Great place to stay!

Our family goes on vacation every year to The beach. This house was great for us. Very close to the ocean and the community pool entrance is great for going to the ocean. John was great to deal when a storm knocked the cable out and I texted him he called the company and they came out and fixed it. He responds very quickly.

Ok, Pros: location, Pool, Well Appointed Kitchen Cons: The Cleaners missed a few things but it was taken care of:) needed multiple light bulbs.Would have been glad to replace if they were available.Linens, bring Everything!! Bath mats, mattress pad, Everything!! etc. It’s in the contract!Bedding:( All Mattresses need updating!!!I know it’s hard to have one mattress that fits all,But, all mattresses made Noises when getting up or rolling over. Deck chairs, could use a few more. A couple we couldn’t figure out how they worked, so left them alone.

This house has it all!

We just finished our third consecutive stay at Recovery Room and needless to say we love it. This house is perfect for a large family. The 6 bedrooms each with their own bath makes it work for families coming together. The pool is a bonus for the kids as a change up from the beach. And the ocean is a very short walk away. We have already reserved our spot for next year. We highly recommend this house!

Amazing

This was the first time we went away for the holidays and it was nothing short of amazing there was plenty of room to spread out. The childrens bunk bed in the room. It gave me the nostalgia of being young and my cousins would come to visit and we’d all pile in one room away from the adults. Thank you so much. Would definitely recommend and would definitely book again.

August 2018 Stay at 5 Sea Turtle Path

We had a great time at OIB this year and again enjoyed our stay at the property. The location is great and the layout definitely worked for my family of 10. Only recommendations I have would be that the stove and dishwasher are a little tired and could use a refresh. We would also like to see a blender and new pans for the kitchen. The pool was great and the pool pump motor was replaced during our stay. Overall, we would stay at the property in the future.

Huge OIB house with everything you need

We had a great long weekend trip to Ocean Isle Beach at the Recovery Room. The house is 2 off the beach, but easy access through the club house which we also had access to (with its pool). The house itself has 6 bedrooms, each with a full bathroom, so we had plenty of room. Very large dining/living area. Also made use of the heated private pool and 4 decks. Overall loved the unit. Owner was very responsive (usually within 30 minutes) and we had no issues with the rental. Would definitely return here.
