We loved our stay at the Wellington! It’s truly a hidden gem! Very close to the board walk! The room was cool, the bed and pillows were comfy! The only issue I had was with the water pressure in the shower but that is very minor.

The property was a hop, skip, and a jump to the beach and Boardwalk. Also, there is free parking on site, which was very convenient too. The staff was very pleasant and the rooms were very clean and beds were quite comfortable. They have free coffee in the morning from 6-11 am and an ice machine. Honestly, if you are looking for an affordable way to travel to OCMD during peak season, this is the place to stay.

Family of 4 with 2 young children. We enjoyed how close this property was to the beach and boardwalk. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Very reasonable price. Things to note if you have young children - standing shower (small sink) - many stairs to climb - door lock is a push button only (no deadbolt)

It's a small affordable room. I will say the bottom floor rooms might smell a little must. I'm guessing the area floods often. I would stay again. You can't beat the price and it's close location to the beach and boardwalk. It's a place to sleep and shower. Some people need a lot, but when I'm visiting I'm not hanging out in my room all day. I recommend, if you are there to enjoy the sights of the area.

We were in OC for the annual car show on the boardwalk. This hotel was right on the boardwalk so it was an easy walk up and down the strip. The room was small but very efficient, modern and clean. It was a great experience and we will be back.

I stayed at the Wellington for 3 nights this June. I was actually surprised at how pleasant the stay was. The hotel and room were clean, which is the most important factor for me after location. Location is great, just a few steps from the boardwalk with no streets to cross. I stayed on the first floor near the lobby. Room was small and nothing special but clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff was always friendly and available. Good coffee was available next to the lobby fresh every morning. There is a back deck with rocking chairs where you can sit and watch cars and people go by on Baltimore Ave. Parking is also good if not too crowded. The few negatives I noticed: There were no nightstands for one of our two beds (no place to put cell phone and glasses). The hotel is right next to a beer and wine store and you might hear people out there at night, and the blinds don’t keep out all of the light from the streetlights if you need the room really dark at night. I don’t think we had a tv in room but I don’t care about that. Overall I was impressed and would stay there again.
