This was my second stay at the Lankford. My room was great. It had two bedrooms, a living area and kitchenette with a stove/oven. The building is a little out of date but our rooms were clean, spacious, very functional. I would absolutely come back for a third time! My only gripe, the checkin time was listed as two with my booking company, not 4pm, but they allowed us to park early so it worked out anyway.

At the end of my visit, at check out. Was requesting additional fee and at the check out I paid it all in full at the check in. . Other customers was upset about the same thing. So I didn’t understand where did that Dee come from.

Easy access to the boardwalk., though we did miss the entrance at night . Not very well marked. I liked that we had to use a key to get into the room. And for being 100 years old it was very well kept, overall a good stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by this gem. We will be back. It is an older building so we weren’t sure how it would be. It was clean and updated where possible while maintaining the character and charm of the old building. Rooms and bathroom were basic but clean. We loved having a balcony of our own and kitchen. The location is great! Anything you want to eat or do is walkable. Lifeguard stand right in front of hotel. We are already checking availability for a return trip.

The property has the feel of an old summer beach house and it was perfect. It could use a new coat of paint and some renovations in the room but overall just had a fantastic time.

This hotel has become our new favorite "cheap" option for staying on the boardwalk with an amazing ocean view! The hotel is old and dated, but the price cant be beat and it is clean and has some good updates like the flat screen tv with all the hookups for streaming devices, newer AC units ect. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the location is right in the middle of the boardwalk with a foot shower and public bathroom 1/2 a block away. The cafe in the lobby is very convenient and great for some eat in breakfast and dessert items. We have stayed here twice so far and have another stay scheduled for later this year. I definitely recommend them, especially if you really just need a small place to sleep and shower on your vacation. The view and location for this price, can't be beat!
