Perfect for our stay.

Stayed here with our family of 5 in a suite. It was like a house rather than a Hotel, in fact it was a period house the hotel had joined on the back. Loads of room, and although we have to cycle through the one bathroom it was worth it. Full kitchen and utensils and nice period furniture. Was clean and was not musty at all which was pretty surprising. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and there is handy unloading area out front, and parking for $34 a day over the road. Would stay here again.

Excellent stay at this property, very conveniently located near LGBT centre, Castro. Served by multiple bus, streetcar and train lines within walking distance. Air conditioning was welcome though perhaps not working the best. Area felt safer than other parts of SF. You will have to dodge the homeless but this is symptomatic of all of SF unfortunately. Grove Inn was a great place to stay as it had a bus stop right outside the front door. It was also a nice stroll downhill into Union Square. The rooms were very comfortable. We had booked for 3 nights but then decided to stay an extra two nights because our experience at the Grove Inn had been fabulous. The continental breakfast also was a great start to your day. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Excellent front of house staff. Breakfast include was very good. Looked after bags pre and post check in and out for no charge. Perfect location for those watching a Giants game

Excellent hotel, location was walking distance to Union Square. Nice large clean room with good coffee, tea and fridge. Friendly helpful staff. Water bottles and free refills at reception were great. The gym is new, huge, fully equiped and better than real clubs. Target supermarket nearby. Immediate area was safe but avoid going past 4th street.

Perfect location, the room was such a great size and loved the vibe of the place! The breakfast and wine and cheese were so good as well honestly such a cool added bonus!!! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Definitely recommend!!

This was our second stay at the Orchard Garden Hotel and we will be back. The standard rooms are very quiet, spacious, relaxing, with coffee maker, fridge and aircon. Great sleep every night! Everything is of high quality and comfort, beds, linen, toiletries, service. Location is very central, right next to Chinatown and only few mins walk from eateries and public transport. We never felt unsafe in the surrounding area. Really, what more do you need for a nice, relaxing holiday?

Lovely gem of a place. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay again if we returned. Having self contained kitchen was an absolute plus. Staff were fantastic to deal with. Close to amenities, could not fault our stay.

The location of the hotel is perfect, the hotel itself was amazing , the staff were super friendly and very helpful to my wife and I as it was our first time in San Francisco. Will definitely stay here again
