We enjoyed this hotel on a stopover to Shiretoko. Our tatami room was comfortable. The outside bar is worth a visit. The breakfast buffet is extensive. We went to the sushi restaurant nearby so can’t comment on the dinner at the hotel.
This is my second visit to this hotel. The hotel is well maintained, and the rooms are clean and well-organized. The open-air hot spring is especially wonderful, and the buffet dinner is also very delicious, especially Sukiyaki and self cooking steamed-rice are highly recommended. Kind and friendly staffs, delicious meal, and excellent open-air hot spring, this hotel is a place I would like to stay again.
Good tatami room but little tiny.
Good environment and meal.

Liked: Cleanliness
The portion sizes at the hotel restaurant were too small. We finished our meal in just 30 minutes, but we paid HKD 5000 for it.
This clearly conveys your experience and the cost involved.
We stayed here again after our last visit in 2016. I love this property though it was quite aged and thus may not be the best option for some considering it is not cheap (half board though). I have no issue with the higher price as we enjoyed the food. As we stayed 2 nights this time, they provided us with a special dish during the second dinner. I really enjoyed myself.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Only few Onsen pools available. Dinner amd Breakfast Buffet menu don’t change much daily. Hallway is lack of fresh air.
Everything was perfect. Room condition, Service, Rotenburo was great. I’d like to give exceptional thank to chef Sakaguchi, that she made unforgettable moment for my family. It was definatedly more than great.
But except one. At the last day’s morning aroun 8AM, when I asked flu pill and dringking water for my wife, a boy at front desk (couldn’t get his name yet you would know) told me to have tap water is dringkable. I have lived Japan 2 years before, so I DO know the situation. I met several “those kind of people” here, No excuse. I got bottled water from other cleaning officer after then, however you’d better to do place diciplin for the issue. Yet the population were relatively less than average. I admit. I can name dozens of other ridiculous episodes worse than this. but-
Because I really loved the hotel and, would likely to visit there again, I’d like to see it getting better.
