"Clean but water didnt work for one day"

"We stayed for one night (with a toddler) and was a lovely stay. Good sized room, clean and friendly/helpful staff. Underground on site parking was good bonus, as was the proximity to the tram station to get into the city centre. "

"Tired hotel with no curtain in my room and far too hot although the radiator was switched off. The shower head would not hold up and the bed was very soft - ok for some people I know, but not me. There was no breakfast other than coffee and worst of all there is only a small time with any staff. That’s no help if you’re facing a keypad to get in. The telephone number to a sister hotel cuts off if you select the English option and if you take the German option they are not exactly helpful - I am still waiting for a call back that was promised in five minutes! "

"We spent a weekend at the Dom Hotel for sightseeing, shopping and to visit the Augsburger Xmas market, only a 10 minute walk away. We received a very warm welcome on arrival, the room and bathroom room were both functional, spacious and very clean. There was an excellent German breakfast selection. We definitely would stay here again."

"Leider können wir unseren Aufenthalt nicht positiv bewerten. Schon bei der Ankunft wirkte das Haus ungepflegt: Sperrmüll im Durchgang, starker Geruch nach Katzenkot und Urin im Eingangsbereich, Zigarettenstummel unter dem Schlüsselkasten. Das Gebäude machte insgesamt einen heruntergekommenen Eindruck.Zur Wohnung:•Küche: Kühlschrank verschmutzt und extrem laut, Backofen unhygienisch, Feuchtigkeit an den Wänden, fehlende Ausstattung.•Bad: Sehr lauter Lüfter und Spülung, Schimmel in den Fugen, unangenehmer Geruch, Heizung schaltete sich nachts von selbst ein und war nicht regulierbar.•Schlaf-/Wohnbereich: Defekter Lattenrost, Rollos unbrauchbar, Fenster schwergängig, extrem hellhörige Wände, schmutzige Fenster und verstaubte Ecken.Zur Umgebung:Die Lage ist ein sozialer Brennpunkt, nachts sehr laut und wenig einladend. Parkplatzsuche war schwierig, und wir fühlten uns nicht sicher – erholsamer Schlaf war kaum möglich. Für Familien mit Kindern ist die Unterkunft aus unserer Sicht ungeeignet.Fazit:Der Zustand von Wohnung und Umfeld entsprach in keiner Weise unseren Erwartungen. Hygienemängel, schlechte Ausstattung, Lärm und mangelndes Sicherheitsgefühl machten den Aufenthalt unangenehm. Eine Weiterempfehlung können wir nicht aussprechen."

"Booked since it was across the street from a venue where I was going to see a show. That was probably the best thing about this stay, proximity to the venue. Customer Service? Non-existent. Power went out 2x, reached out via text and phone and no response - still! They claim limited availability for assistance but I NEVER saw anyone in the 2 days I was there. The neighborhood is very seedy, homeless people bothering you for money and drunks/addicts staring you down all around the bus & train stations across the street - just a general feeling of not being safe if you wanted to go out at night. Toilet paper ran out both days, no paper towels/hand towels in the bathroom - basically they collect your money and you're on your own, regardless of how the stay is going. If you need to reach them and communicate an issue, don't bother because they don't reply (there was another guest who was getting angry because he couldn't reach them either, wasn't just me). They clearly don't care about anything except taking your money. "
