We stayed here on our honeymoon in 2006 so love the location. The refurb is good but could be more homely for our tastes. We’d suggest adding a cafetière as the Nespresso coffee is not for everyone.Otherwise very happy with our stay and good communication from the host.

Absolutely lovely flat with a great view of the bay and very close to the City Centre of Oban. The instructions and suggestion booklet provided fantastic detail to make for a really comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

This home had everything we needed for our family. It is located conveniently to the ferry and within an hours drive of glencoe. The beds were extremely comfortable. We were able to get parking easily for whole stay.

Cousins trip to Scotland

We were 4 adult cousins on a trip around Scotland. We stayed 3 nights. It was such an excellent location for taking the ferry over to Isle of Mull and for walking around town! Super comfortable for 4 people.

Incredible location, fantastic view, wonderful memories.

My husband and our two adult daughters had a wonderful stay in this charming flat. The views from the flat are absolutely beautiful and everything we desired to do was just a few minutes walk. Communicating with Grigor was easy, he was prompt and kind throughout the entire process. We totally recommend!

Quaint apartment with grand location!

Fabulous view overlooking the harbor in Oban! We could walk to restaurants, boats or the train! The apartment is very well furnished with so many personal touches. Could not believe the spaciousness of both the kitchen and the living room! Thanks for a magical stay in Oban!

Great spot in Oban

This was a family visit with my Mom, Son (15) and myself to see some of Scotland. The location of the apartment was fantastic, just on the outside of the town centre Views out the windows of the harbour and very close to just about everything you need. From there we had a 5 min walk to the pier to tour Mull and Iona, 10 minutes into the center of town, and only a few minuets from 2 large grocery stores. The condition and features of the property were exactly as advertised and very comfortable for us during our visit, only wish we could have stayed a few more days. Oban is beautiful. What a fantastic place.

Excellent location

Even though there is a short walk up to the apartment you will be totally amazed with the well appointed and comfortable accommodation not withstanding the incredible view. The location is ideal - just a couple of minutes walk to the seaside village full of restaurants and stores for all needs. Beautiful Beds were very comfortable and the shower had great pressure. We were 5 and no problem with hot water or space. Bathroom was small but just take your turn. Loved it and thank you for allowing us to live in your lovely home.

The apartment was clean and tidy. No towels were put out, but eventually found them in a cupboard in the 3rd bedroom. The bathroom for a 3 bedroom apartment was really not suitable, it was far too small and very old

The property was nice, clean, and located a short walk from the city center, with plenty of shopping and restaurants close by. It has a nice view of the bay, as well. It was quiet and felt very safe. The property owner was nice and responsive, keeping in touch throughout.The property had basic amenities in the kitchen with the addition of a nice espresso machine (which I couldn't figure out how to operate 😊). The biggest challenge was parking. When the location we were instructed to park in filled up, we chose another location and ended up with a L110 parking ticket!

Expectations Not Met

We enjoyed the close proximity to the railway station and other popular attractions. The apartment had a lot of room. The main area of complaint is the heating and the shower. It was very difficult to keep the shower warm and decent water pressure. Furthermore, the heating did not seem to improve no matter how we changed the temperature. As we stayed during the winter, both of those deficiencies made for an uncomfortable stay.

We were a family of four with a dog on a 3-week trip through Scotland. Since we didn't have much space for luggage, the priority when choosing accommodation was that there was a washing machine and dryer. The description of the property said that there was a dryer, but unfortunately that's not true. When we arrived it was pouring with rain, we were completely soaked and frozen. The heating in the apartment was off and all the windows were open. It was incredibly cold. That wasn't ideal. The apartment itself is very nicely located, you can walk to the city center, restaurants, etc. The furnishings are nice and the amenities are good. The beds were very soft, but that's a matter of taste and just our opinion. The contact with the landlord was great, we were helped quickly. We would like to book this property again for a short trip All in all we had three very nice days in Oban and would like to say a big thank you
