The Bach on Dorset 🌊

The Bach on Dorset 🌊

10/10 Excellent
"We came here with our crate trained mini Schnauzer. He enjoyed the property and having the section fenced was great. Very quite neighborhood, close to Middletons Bay for a beach walk, and easy as to get onto the Opunake Loop walk which he enjoyed every morning. A variety of beach, river and lake views House had everything we needed. Would definitely come back."

River Deep Mountain High Retreat. For couples to share quality time relaxing.

10/10 Excellent
"The cabin is a perfect hideaway for singles or couples wanting some peace and quiet. The view from the deck is stunning, taking in native bush and birds fluttering close by. You can hear the gurgle of the river below. The cabin itself is beautifully presented, warm and cosy. The bed is comfy and the linen is luxurious. The bathroom is absolutely beautiful. It is worth noting that the cooking facilities are limited to a Weber BBQ, and air fryer and a microwave, so if you are planning to cook your own meals make sure they can be prepared using these appliances. There are so many lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants within a 30 minute drive though, that we mostly ate out.We had a bit of trouble getting the bath hot enough, but once we got it sorted it was amazing and a highlight of the accommodation! We also enjoyed the little bush walk down to the river. John is an extremely accommodating host; if there is anything you need he is there in a jiffy to help out. River Deep is a beautiful place to stay if you are just wanting some time out, and we will certainly be back for another stay soon."
