"Clean, friendly hotel. Breakfast was as advertised and our room was perfect for our needs. Easy to find and free, plentiful parking. Mainly seems to cater for business clientele and does its job well for a very reasonable price."
"Good location with enough to do around for a short staycation. Staff were really helpful. Maybe because of the season, there were more flies and cobwebs than I would have expected in the room, but overall I felt comfortable in it given the heat spike. The restaurant is on the pricey side but with novel options and attentive staff. There could be more dedicated cycle parking space."

"The hotel feels like a bit of history, and the room was superb. I had the steak pie for dinner and it was the best I've had. My wife had the steak and said it was superb. The wine was delicious as was the cocktail to finish it all off. The staff were friendly and helpful and we loved the room service. When we needed anything, the staff were always on hand to help. The bar area has inspired us on future designs for our front room! Cracking hotel"
"The room and facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained andthestaffwereveryfriendlyandhelpful, we had evening meal in the restaurant and the food was tasty and nice and hot.
The only thing that would really benefit the hotel is air conditioning but the windows did open for fresh air and a fan was provided in the room.
All in all an excellent stay."
