"Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. The bungalow was clean on arrival and all the necessaties of a home away from home facilities were in place (large fridge/freezer), cooker, TV/Wifi, shower etc and worked as expected. "The cottage is lovely located. 25 minutes by foot to the town center and 15 minutes to the river Exe. Parking space direct available in front of the cottage. A small supermarket is nearby. The heating did work without any issues. A dining room is not available.Alison the host was also super quickly in her response if we had any questions.
