"I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The positive is definitely the location! Half a block from Times Square is great. It is definitely a basic room. The worst part is the elevators were down when we finally got to check in. Walking a million steps, carrying luggage is miserable! Luckily we didn’t have much with us. I’m not sure if I’d recommend this hotel but the room was basic, clean, and quiet."

"Stayed in room 4012 and just the overall feel is outdated. My buddie was in 3909 and his tv stand Was falling apart. Elevator make so crazy sounds. Just old and outdated type of place"

"The property was clean, and well maintained. The staff were firendly and helpful. The amenities left a little to be desired. The entertainment (TV) system was from 2008, and some features (Googlecast specifically) failed to work. Though I understand that's not why people come to the Theater District, it's still suboptimal. Finally, I fully recognize space is at a premium, but the gap between the sink and shower door was VERY small (as was the bathroom). This was highly inconvenient. "

"We always stay at the New Yorker when we are in New York, whether for business or for pleasure. The hotel is convenient for us for our business and for attending theatre and restaurants in the theatre district. The price is good for the value. The least expensive rooms are rather small; but some of their rooms are large with a refrigerator. The building is older but renovated. So it has the advantage of larger windows and high ceilings. Ask for corner rooms to get more windows. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And there are many restaurants and stores in easy walking distance."

"Room was not the cleanest. Bathroom was dirty with hair. The picture on the wall wasn’t wiped down and there was splashes of substance on it.There was trash behind the ottoman in the bedroom. The bedsheets on one of the beds had some type of substance on it and some other dirty marks. "
