Lovely old pub. Fantastic meals! Staff helpful, informative and friendly. Stayed two nights the room very clean, functional and modernised in a very very old building! We were happy with our short stay!

Surprisingly good stay. Lots of space in the family room great having 2 tvs and the 2 single beds were in a separate room. Nice and clean and very quiet. Food works just next door, bistro serves lunch and dinner and other cafes on the same street so easy for food access.

Well-provided, recently refurbished room and en-suite. Everything there was good except that the air conditioning could not overcome the heat outside so it was pretty stuffy all night. The dining area was fine and our meals were good. The hotel as a whole comes across as clean, respectable and welcoming. We would stay again.
