Beautiful and quiet. Serene surroundings. Very clean and tidy. Hosts were very helpful with local shop closing times.

Unfortunately there was a dead ant in the sugar and we cleaned the ac filters as the heat pump was making a horrible sound. The fan motor in the heat pump required repair or something as each time the heat pump fan turned on it would make a humming sound - if you’re a light sleeper this will keep you up all night, if you’re a heavy sleeper not a worry.
The staff were friendly and in general taking out the lack of sleep due to the heat pump was a good accommodation
Fabulous place to stay to see the Tasman Peninsula- centrally located to all the great walks and must see places like Port Arthur.
Handy to local shops for supplies.
Comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a getaway.

Nice getaway
Very convenient location. We were in a recently renovated studio which had everything you need for tea/coffee & meals. Very Clean. Exterior a bit dated. Organic veggie shop and cafe on site.
The price is much lower than the living conditions and hospitality for the money. Highly recommend it.

The Property was very clean but it was dated and in need of refurbishment. The blanket had burn holes in it and there was a board duck taped to the back of the glass door to block the light out. Also only dam and bore water available to shower in. Access and parking was easy. You get what you pay for. It was cheap and affordable and served our purpose.

Comes with fridge and microwave. Due to Eco friendly, the water is a bit yellowish for shower, basin and WC. Have to fill the potable water from outdoor tap.
The environment is good but if your next door is sitting outside their unit and chat, then it can be quite annoying.
IGA is not far away which is pretty convenient
I like the price range and the quietness. Please remove the photos of the spa and swimming pool in the website since they have not been for 2 years, and it's misleading.
Lovely property with self check in and out, easy. Note that nothing is open in Nubeena on a Monday night to have dinner, not even the take away, but there are a couple of small supermarkets and, as we had a microwave and plates/utensils etc, we ended up having microwave dinners. I called ahead and spoke with a very helpful gentleman who gave me lots of tips of things to see on our way. We booked this place to be close to Port Arthur for the next day and it was perfect, an easy 15 min drive. The room was clean and relatively modern, the heater worked well and there were electric blankets, important in Tassie! It was very quiet at night. I would have liked to look around the property more but we didn't have time.
We enjoy the quietness most.although the cafe was closed for this season. The area is very pleasant! I would recommend this please if you want peace around!
PRO
- Good WiFi/AC
- modern clean bathroom
- spacious room with comfortable bed
- fabulous location for nearby Bicheno attractions. Also only 15mins-30mins to Freycinet National park
CON
- Kitchenette was essentially a fridge/kettle and dishware. There was no toaster/microwave and no sink! You are expected to bring dishes outside to wash which is difficult in cold/dark/rain in winter.
- ‘lakeview’ is a view of a man made canoe/pond
Also- Pool looked lovely but closed during our stay due to winter weather
Overall would recommend to friends and family!

Did not realise it was an eco retreat. Found it hard to get warm!
Be sure to take your drinking water... As the property has filtered rainwater... No major supermarkets Eg Coles n woolies so be sure to stack up on dinner and snacks before 6pm... As most of the eateries close by then...
The apartment was spacious but it was a bit dark (maybe more lighting needed?). My kids loved having their own room. Kitchen quite well equipped, with stove, oven and microwave.
Stayed in the studio self contained room. Lovely and clean with excellent king size bed, kitchen facilities and good sized bathroom. Check in was easy and staff very friendly. Beautiful location close to shops and attractions.
